Easy to install and works great!

I ordered this product and about one month into its use it quit working. Upon taking the ballast off to change the light bulb I noticed that it was leaking water into where the bulb was which shorted everything out, blew the bulb and rusted all the component. I contacted the company for help and they replied immediately. They suggested the quartz tube could have been damaged during shipping and gave me instructions on how to completely disassemble the product to check. They were spot on, unfortunately shipping faults are not covered under warranty but they still were willing to work with me and gave me a great deal on all the replacement parts so I was not out a unit or stuck buying a new one. After reassembling the unit it has worked flawlessly. The results are as expected, CLEAR and CLEAN water overnight!!! I would 100% recommend this product to anyone looking for a UV sterilizer however I would suggest upon receipt of your unit you completely disassemble it to inspect all components after you get it. This way, if you do have damaged parts from shipping you can claim it in lieu of finding out the hard way. Thank you CNZ lighting for your help!

I I had this for a year, hooked it up to my outdoor pond. It worked initially, maybe for a month I winterize my pond, took everything out pumps and motors along with the UV light. I just bought two new UV light bulbs, from Amazon installed them in the unit plugged in and nothing. I’m getting power everywhere all the chords. And power inside the light . I tried both lightbulbs neither worked.

I've been searching for a way to clear my 320 gal. pond if algea. I've tried barley pellets, which killed my plants. I've tried chemicals which left the algea st the bottom of my pond, and reduced the amount of oxygen in my pond. I also tried a much smaller watt UV clarifier, which didn't seem to work, even after adding a valve to slow down the flow. The good news is... this unit works!!!! After just 4 days my pond is almost crystal clear!!!! My fish are happy and I'm so pleased!!!!

I have seen a number of reviews on this item that complain about leaking. I suspect that when they were installed, the o-ring on the fittings was placed improperly or not at all. The instructions are the typical Chines-English translation that does not quite cover all the details. The instructions does not even mention the o-rings. It is not a complex item, so it is easy to figure out, but the paperwork could be better by including some manufacturer info or maybe even the UV lamp replacement model number. Other reviews complained about it not clearing the algae. It can take a while to kill all the algae in a moderate sized pond. My pond is 800 gallon and I can see the bottom that is 3.5 feet under the surface, so I would have to say, it's working fine. Would have been 5 stars, but the insufficient user manual and instructions is a negative. I suspect they would have fewer returns if they provided better documents.

I have a 1500 gallon pond for my many Koi and goldfish, The pressurized pond filter was just not doing a good enough job to keep the pond clean. This really made a difference when I added it inline from the pump, now the water looks great.

last year i cleaned a ton of veg out of the pond and it got infected with a pea green algae bloom right after. the first two pics are from two weeks ago when i installed the clarifier. didn't see much improvement in the first week. i took the second two pics this morning. it was a huge improvement; we can see the bottom now. very pleased with this product/purchase. my pond is about 2000 gallons and the pump circulates about 400 gph through the clarifier and 30 gallon biological filter. the inlet/outlet fittings needed a bit of tweaking to seal properly, but no big deal. recommend using the largest hose possible to reduce pipe friction loss.

I was able to connect this directly in line with the Fluval FX-4 and FX-6 for a 200 gallon turtle tank. You just need to buy some new clamps from your hardware store and get the "Fluval Rubber Connector for FX5 High Performance Canister Filter" to connect the pipes together. The UV filter works well to clear the cloudiness from my tank and was easy to setup. It has four screw mounting holes which I used to attach to hardwood. The manual says to mount it horizontally but the seller says that it can me mounted vertically as well. It would be good to get clarification on that. It was a great purchase and it has been working well.

I was having trouble keeping my pond clean. within a week I could already see my koi at the bottom of the pond. I would definitely recommend this product.

Form first use it got burned and more over i purchased 2 new bulb and burn both of them this is the worse product i purchased from my full life from Amazon

Not good. I’ve had smaller lights that did a better job. Replaced with new light bulbs and no improvement. No easy was to contact seller. Plan to buy a different option
