Wemo WiFi Smart Plug (Smart Outlet for Smart Home, Control Lights and Devices Remotely, Controlled only with Apple HomeKit)

I have had lots of IoT devices to control things around the home. This was so easy to install and use.I bought 2 initially and then went on to buy 3 more. I’m about to order more. Perfect for Apple and HomePods

Easy to set up and does what it should and has a good old fashioned manual over ride switch. Seems well made.

I used the old bulky Belkin Wemo switches many years ago and despite them being a bit of a phaff when software was updated I thought they were great. I very much looking forward to using a modern version. I got just over 24hr use out of this before it stopped working and it simply will not pair again. I do not know if the issue is Apple Home but it is annoying you cannot simply pair through the Wemo app just like the old switches did, you have to go through Apple Home. So now I have an expensive piece of plastic that does nothing. Save your money and try another brand

It disconnects every 2 weeks. And Have to be reconfigured, which only takes 2-3 mins. Otherwise works fine, very easy to use from homekit

Really like these plugs as they work so well with Apple HoneKit which I control via Apple HomePod mini. Highly recommended

The media could not be loaded. this is an apple homekit smart plug from the brand wemo, this is the first time i know this brand, i found wemo is actually a subsidiary of the famous brand belkin, so if you like belkin, you will expect wemo product got good quality as belkin, personally i’m a fan of belkin for many years already, so i have much confidence to this brand after studied its backgroundwell, this smart plug came in a simple and neat packaging, the smart plug itself is quite compact, it doesn’t look thin, but when i used it with extension lead, it won’t block plugs on its sidesetup was quick and simple, it could be setup with apple homekit only, just use the apple home app to scan the qrcode sticker, the setup completes within just one minuteit’s easy to use, basic smart kit functions are included, voice control, automation turn on/off, or simply use the app or physical button to turn it on/off, the response is good, no obviously delay found so fari found that the smart plug could be linked to alexa, google home and ifttt through the wemo app, it’s good alternative control if you already have other smart home system running at home (but you still need apple homekit to make it work)i’m satisfied with this product, would recommendhope you find these information helpful
