Not reliable!
After using the unit for 4 months (total 20 days) one day we saw that it had tripped the 80A fuse that we had. We tried connecting it directly to the battery (since we were on the road and did not have a spare fuse) but the unit stopped working after beeping for a bit. Basically it shortcircuited while the unit was in-use and we were driving.
