Water no longer tastes the same and our ice is no longer clear
We changed all three filters in our RO system and this time the water doesn’t taste the same after this filter change. Also our ice is no longer clear as it used to be. My family has stopped using the system and we are buying bottled water until we get the new filters. I have no idea if it was this filter or one of the others but I’m rating them all negatively. We have now ordered a completely different filter kit that is allegedly a Hydrotech kit. Hopefully we get better tasting water with the new ones.

Possibly not a good filter
I am more than a little disgusted by what I found in my filter today. I sanitized my RO system and replaced all filters last night. After emptying my tank 6 times, I couldn't understand why the contaminants reading was still so high (170)! With dirty filters it was 29. I checked the filter housings and was disgusted by what I found along with this filter. It seems like rust has formed on it and the water in the housing looked so murky and dirty. The other filters in the other housings still look clean.I am not sure if this is normal. Never seen it before. Even my old dirty filter didn't have rust on it.
