Great performance but runs big - check sizing from Craft's website since Amazon's is incorrect
TLDR version: Runs large compared to Craft's winter liners so order a size down. Top notch performance otherwise. Amazon's sizing is wrong check Craft's website for correct sizing. As a cyclist, you want a warm/hot weather liner to do 3 things: 1)Fit snugly/tightly without being restrictive 2)Wick very well to facilitate evaporative cooling 3)Act a barrier for chafing from bib straps and or jersey. This liner does all these very well even in the high humidity of the south-east U.S. Granted it's not as effective at the evaporative cooling as it would be in the west with much lower humidity, but it is still effective - better than without in my opinion. I have used liners from Gore, Champion, Castellli, and some cheap ones from here on Amazon (look exactly like the Craft Cool Mesh liner) and this ranks up there with the Gore liner for performance. The only CON is the fit. It runs slightly large and long. I am 5'10'', 180lbs, 40.5' chest and relatively fit - I ride 5 days a week 10+ hours per week in season - a bit soft around the waist (I do enjoy the occasional drink on the weekends – hey I’m not racing anymore so...). I ordered based on my previous experience with Craft’s winter liners in which I’m a large. Amazon’s posted sizing show the XL as 39.4” chest! Craft’s website has the Lg at 41.34. Big difference. DO NOT trust the Amazon sizing! Anyway, the large was a bit big - barely snug around the chest with some bunching/flapping in the shoulder areas and form-fitting but not snug in the waist/stomach with a fair bit of wrinkling/bunching. It was a little bit larger than you want for a liner - it needs to not be gapping off the skin to be as effective as possible - just look at the model in the picture of the listing to see how it should fit against the skin. Plus the length is all the way down to the groin or essentially covering my whole buttocks. This would bunch up under cycling shorts – especially bib shorts. I would classify this fit as "tall" and I don't have a short torso either. I ended up ordering the medium and while it is still a little long, it fits perfectly everywhere else.

Keeps you cool and dry(er)
I choose this one because of the good reviews. I bought this one to replace my last shirt (same one) which lasted a couple of years. I believe that since I was riding/washing the same shirt over and over that the stink started to get locked in but what do you expect if you are wearing the same one every ride for over a year. It's always hard to tell but I originally had doubts wearing another layer in the summer however I'm pretty sure I feel cooler overall. It does a good job of pulling the moisture away from your body but at the same time keeping you cool since the mesh shirt is pretty meshy.I'll add that I bought a large and it is pretty big. I could have gone with a med/large if they had mid sizes. The neck hole leans on the larger side which is good and bad. good because you never feel something tight around your neck but sometimes it will shift right or left on you which is really just an ascetic thing where with your jersey unzipped a pit it looks off center. Very minor and I'm sure it fits different for everyone.Price wise I don't think you can go wrong. Other high end brands are way too expensive. So overall I put it this way. I liked it enough to buy a second one.

I wear one of these every time I ride year round
I have always worn some sort of an undershirt under my jersey for 20 plus years now. It's just what I am used to doing. I wear one year round in hot, cold, and comfortable weather. My previous version of this was made by Pearl Izumi and they lasted a very long time. I bought one of these to try something new and now I own six of them. I think it feels softer than my pervious Pearl Izumi models but admittedly I have not looked at their current versions. It fits as expected if you know your jersey size. I vary between a M and a L depending on cut, but mostly a M. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. M fits perfect. My only downside is it is a little long and would hang out the bottom of my jersey if I didn't tuck it in. I wouLd say the picture is accurate on length as you can see it is 3 inches or so below the top of the shorts. I may shorten it to my personal jersey length but I guess that better that it being too short to start with.

Best base layer I have ever used - crazy light but keeps you warm in the cold and cool in the heat.
Loved this baselayer. As I was getting ready for this year's Ride the Rockies in Colorado, the weather was predicted to be much colder than usual so I did a last-minute order and Amazon Primed this to my friend's house in Colorado where I was staying. This was four months ago, and I still remember the cool box it came in. Great first impression. The base layer preformed and continues to perform magically. In the cold weather it helps keep you warm and in hot weather, it helps keep you cool. I really like the sleeveless version - on cold days I couple it with arm warmers that allows me to strip down as the day gets warmer. Moreover, the sleeveless makes it far more dual-use for hot days too.The base layer is surprisingly small and light. When you first take it out of the box, it is easy to get an incredulous look and think, "Really?" I don't know how they do it, but this tiny thing works wonders. I have base layers from companies like Pearl Izumi and Louis Garneau - and they work fine too - but from now on, I am only going to buy this specific base layer from now on.

size runs large
Beware - sizing on these shirts runs very large. I weigh 160 pounds and size SMALL fits me well without any binding or tightness. If you buy too large a base layer, it won't fit properly under your jersey. I also use the heavier Craft-brand base layers and these summer Craft shirts run a half to full size larger. Once you get the right size, the summer base layer is very nice. It wicks away your sweat during hot uphills so you don't chill on the downhills. The fabric is very thin and light so it won't overheat you in hot weather. If anything, the sun protection and wicking will make you feel cooler in hot sunny weather.

The fit and they work
This is not the first time ordering these shirts. They work well and fit has advertised.

Good price, good fit
I needed another mesh base layer, specifically a vest, for rowing. I have some mesh Rapha ones with short sleeves, and this is very similar. I recommend a snug fit to get the desired performance and sweat wicking. I am 6ft3 / 189cm, with about a 44 inch chest and 36 inch waist, 104kg, and the Large is a good snug fit.

Not cheap but worth every penny
My favourite baselayer. Don't know I'm wearing it, just keeps me dry and comfy.

Three Stars
Very light and insubstantial. Stretches just a bit too much. Works well.
