Q: My 8 year old wants this game, is it good for him?

I think that it might be a little hard for him to play and I am not sure the content is really kid friendly. Its supposed to be sort of a newer genre in gaming- horror, its got a terror factor built into the game. You have to figure out puzzles in the game, part of that is timing and jumping at precisely the right moment. I bought this for my friends son and he is turning 12 and he is working through the game, but it might take him awhile to get through the levels. There are lots of play throughs on YouTube, I would probably have you watch some of them first to see if you are okay with an 8 year old playing the game. I just worry that he might not enjoy it just yet and would get frustrated with the style of game play it is. With that said, as an adult, I loved the game, its creepy and the puzzles are cool, there is a creepy mysterious narrative through the whole game and I think they are adding on additions to this game with other stories and a new character. It was challenging for me (not a regular gamer as an adult but avid gamer as a kid). So if your kiddo is not totally freaked out by scary stuff and is an above average gamer for his age, he can do this game, but it you are concerned about the horror sort of genre and he isn't a well developed gamer... this might not be him at the moment.

No you cannot unfortunately. You cannot play Xbox One games on the Xbox 360. You can, however, play Xbox 360 games on an Xbox One.
