I enjoyed this book from the start, as the author tells a story well, and delivers the importance of 'moral value' in a smoothly strategic way. I particularly loved his style in using poignant but meaningful life lessons that grew the main character over time.The story did drag just a little during various portions, and could have used a bit more excitement during others. But overall, I would definitely recommend this book for its sage wisdom and beautifully used symbolism. Although any age group would enjoy it... this book would be especially valuable to older teens or young professional readers.

This is the 2nd book I have read from this author. I read this book in one sitting. I simply couldn't put it down. The truths that are within the story line are life changing. I am in the middle of a divorce after 30 years of marriage. The divorce was due to my failings as a husband and a man. I have lived the last 6 months or more in loneliness and despair. I never felt that God would be able to use me again. However, as I read this book, focused on the proverbs it taught, and really stared look inside myself, I was awakened to the idea that no life is wasted unless you stop living and fail to reach for your dreams and purpose. Its rare that a book is both entertaining and instrumental in teaching. The author of the Secret Traveler nailed both!! I would recommend this read to anyone struggling to find your next direction in life....It certainly pushed me into a direction I needed to go.

Let them have ears to hear and eyes to see the truths written in this book!!! Please study the truths written!!!
