I have been a pilot g2 girl forever. Then I got this pen and it’s safe to say that it has absolutely replaced that. I love that it’s got a little bit of weight to it. I absolutely love the pink color. The ink is great quality and I’m glad I can just buy refills instead of buying pens that just end up getting tossed out. Very smooth writing. It’s just a win all around for me.

Weight is evenly distributed and balanced. Writes fluidly.

Omg love this pen. Energel out does themselves with these metal pens. They’re basically the only pens I can tolerate. And I love that the metal container comes in every color. Perfect for accessorizing with different colored journals. Or color coding when studying.

I fell in love with the Pentel EnerGel pen when a sales associate lent me hers to sign a receipt. I was sold the moment I picked it up and realized that, unlike the usual run-of-mill disposable plastic pen, this one was metal and had some serious heft to it! It felt weighty and important.Then as soon as I put the tip to paper and realized how smoothly and effortlessly it flowed, I was completely hooked!As if the writing experience wasn't enough for me, when she told me that the EnerGel pen is REFILLABLE, I knew I had to have it. The associate could see the thieving glint in my eye and interrupted my scheming to warn me that the one person who tried to relieve her of said pen is now in traction at a local hospital. She was clearly joking and utterly incapable of violence, but the intended message was loud and clear: Do not take my pen, or else. So I abandoned my half-baked plot to steal it and sped home to order a few for myself in different colors, as well as a few boxes of refill cartridges with different colors of ink.Until recently, my go-to pen was a fountain pen that my parents had gifted me a few years back. For better or worse, that fountain pen is now relegated to the second tier, because I'm all about the EnerGel! And, unlike the fountain pen, the EnerGel does not leak or leave my hand covered in ink. The ink actually dries almost instantly, which is a lifesaver for any lefty.Although it may sound like hyperbole, I REALLY love this pen and cannot recommend it highly enough! I've tried dozens, if not hundreds, over the years, and this is head and shoulders above the rest.

I write a work quite a bit, being a quality technician, so taking measurements is over half of my day. I prefer blue tones of ink due to data entry ease as well, and I've tried dozens of pens and only a small handful have the correct feel as well as a finer line with no bleeding.It is like Pentel has read my thoughts and delivered a pen to check all the boxes.While I've purchased the standard consumer pens at office supply stores and department stores, I do prefer this one due to the aluminum production. It's more substantial, and gives a better hand feel than plastic does.I also am very happy that it's refillable, which cuts down on waste and packaging, as well as allows me to have a variety of colors to write with if I choose to do so.

Has a quality weight to it, not too heavy, but doesn't feel cheap and plasticy either. Writes like a dream, love that the gel ink doesn't smear onto my hand as I write (I'm a lefty!). I got hooked on this brand and now I want one in every colour.
