I am involved in living history re-enactments and needed a boot jack that I could have with me in encampments. I wear boots for different decades in the early to mid 19th century. Being an officer in each experience it is necessary for me to wear spurs. This boot jack looks great for the time periods involved, easily packs with my kit, and works quite fine...spurs or no spurs.The protectors provided on the boot jack easily slipped off so a couple of decorative tacks on the back permanently solved that problem.I am very pleased with this purchase and would suggest that you consider it.

This one grabs the heel of my boots. I wear a women’s 8.5 and another brand was just to big to grab the heel. The opening could still be slightly smaller though. I do wish it was sturdier. It’s kinda a balance game to get it set-up just right to use. Perhaps the front stand is a bit too low? Not sure but it fits my boots and that’s what matters at the moment to me.

The price was good. It's pretty plain jane, but it does the job.

Product was a piece of junk. Don’t get lured in by the price. The ends that are supposed to protect your boot slide off immediately. The wood is lightweight and looks like a wood shop student made it hoping for a C+. I just ended up ordering a higher quality version from another maker in the end. Don’t waste your money.

I got this to take my cowboy boots on and off. It works okay but is pretty insubstantial--too lightweight. Also the little black covers on the tips aren't secured on very well. One tore after a couple of weeks and they slip. If you decide to get this get a staple gun and staple the black covers on really well before you use it.

Works as it’s supposed to. Just a little pricey for what you get.

The leather wrap came off after the first use but it still works fine without it
