they break easily, this is my third one

I'll start with the cons... It's a little heavier than I expected (several ounces) and I had to drill a hole in the handle to attach a clip to keep from losing it (like a buddy of mine did with his). Now on to the pros.. The extension on this is impressive. I've used it to pull discs out of trees and pull from water hazards. At full extension, it still has enough rigidity to push lighter branches away. At first, I was concerned I couldn't use it enough to justify buying it. I've used it multiple times! I wouldn't suggest everyone having one, but you definitely become the hero in your group when you do have one and you're not throwing objects at discs in trees or swimming to get them back. Paid for itself in one season. I drilled a hole in the handle to attach a carabiner to it with a piece of heavy gauge wire so it can clip to my bag and not lose it. If you do this, make sure you extend the pole out so you don't drill through other pieces of the extension. My advice to the company would be to attach a ring to the handle or have a hole ready for this.

This is the second one of these I've had, the first stick the hook was the first part to break but was able to still poke discs out of tree. Then after awhile it stopped collapsing due to a mix of dirt getting caught inside and potentially closing it too fast. Still saved me a ton of time and effort from just throwing baseballs. Just keep it from dirt and take your time collapsing it to make it last.

Used this a handful of times now and overall we think it’s a good purchase, it feels very durable, extends quite far, compacts down to a good size, and isn’t too heavy.. however it’s not the easiest thing to retrieve a disc with Overall 8/10

Excellent sturdy product that does a he job very well.

This disc grabber sure came in handy in the mountains of New Mexico! It easily reached my discs that ended up in a tree or a creek.

This broke the very first time it was used. I hooked a disc and lifted it up out of a sticker bush, and the weight of the disc caused the hook to break off of the stick. I continued to use the stick when I could, but the third time I attempted to push some shrubbery to the side to reach a disc, the pole bent so bad it couldn't collapse anymore. Very cheap don't waste your money.

Don't like losing discs? Neither do I, which is why I invested what it takes to buy one premium disc so that wouldn't happen. This tool has already saved me from climbing two trees, one of which was unclimbable and would've certainly sent me to my local retailer to buy a replacement. I couldn't be more pleased with it's length, sturdiness, and perfectly designed hook at the end. It easily straps onto the side of my disc golf bag too. I would recommend this to all disc golfers.

Good quality, exactly what I wanted. The only thing, and this was my fault, I wish it had 2 end piece attachments. The hook which it comes with and the slot piece where the disc slips into. For when you get it in the water
