A Must for Anyone Taking the CCXP
This book is an absolute must for anyone taking the CCXP. The great thing about this book is the mindset and critical thinking the principles provide to help answer those tricky questions where multiple options could be correct. Along with Michael's Exam Simulator, this book ensured I passed my CCXP with a score I was very happy with. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Preparation for the CCXP
If you are taking the CCXP exam - buy this book! You'll be so glad you did.I've been a business consultant in this field for many years so I thought I wouldn't need any preparation to pass the CCXP exam. Just to be safe, I purchased a different preparation course and figured I would "cram" with it a few days before the test. I had a busy schedule so I only set aside the day before the exam to study. When I opened the course I panicked because I realized that there was a lot on the test that I wasn't prepared for. That course I had purchased was very frustrating because they (very slowly) told you about "topics" on the test, but they didn't actually teach them or even give you a good overview and references. I realized that I would have to do a whole lot more preparing on my own and would likely fail my first attempt at the exam.Luckily, I had also purchased this book. I pulled it out, went through the 18 principles, and started going through the sample questions. Just from the book, I had new hope that I might actually be prepared. Then I saw the related website at ccxpexamsimulator.com. I bought the prep course on that site and dove into the two full sample exams. Going through the 2 exams was almost all I needed. Michael does an amazing job not only simulating the test (and therefore preparing you for the "trickiness" aspect of the questions) but also in explaining why the correct answer is correct and why the other answers are wrong. Then they give you a study plan based on how you tested.I watched only the videos I needed. And I was actually listening to the last one on my way down to the exam. The test was really hard. The questions are very tricky and you really have to pay attention to the nuance of the wording. Michael's sample exams were excellent preparation for this. I sweated all through the test and at the end, I still didn't feel solid on a lot of my answers (the questions often seem subjective and I couldn't choose between 2 final answers). But in the end I passed with over 90%! (you need 80 to pass)I can honestly attribute my success in passing on my first attempt to this book and its related website. I am very impressed at how well thought out and laid out it is. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

A must have in preparation for the CCXP
This book is a great tool in helping prepare for the CCXP exam. When I knew I wanted to take the CCXP, this was the first resource I purchased. (Note: I had already read Outside In: The Power of Putting Customers at the Center of Your Business and Chief Customer Officer 2.0: How to Build Your Customer-Driven Growth Engine.)For me, this book was a wake up call. I breezed through the 18 principles to quickly get to the 40 practice exam questions. That's when I realized the exam may not be as easy as I had originally thought. I quickly reset and and read through the principles again with intention, which helped me narrow in on some key points that I overlooked the first time.Based on the practice questions in the book, I also headed to the CCXP Exam Simulator and signed up for the Platinum Package. The book itself it a great resource but partnered with the simulator it's the real deal. Both the book and simulator help you better understand how the actual exam poses questions and how you are expected to think through them.I credit Michael's resources in helping me prepare and successfully pass the CCXP exam (scoring 100% and over 90% in a couple pillars). Even if you're an expert in CX, this book is a worthy investment to level-set on principles and the exam experience.

Helped me pass the CCXP exam (with room to spare!)
This book was an especially important part of my (successful) preparation for taking the CCXP exam. The book has two major sections, both valuable. The first, the author's 18 principles (some general about CX, some more specific to the test) to follow while taking the exam, gave me a straightforward framework to use while preparing. Did I remember all of them when I took the test? Of course not! But they did inform my choices during the test, and it worked out pretty well for me. These wThe second, a set of sample questions, were helpful in two ways. First, having 40 sample questions allowed me to test my knowledge on the full array of CX competencies, sometimes from multiple directions. I could see, very quickly, where I needed more help. But the real value was in the detailed explanations given with the answer key. Those, more than anything, helped me unpack the questions and see not just where I went wrong, but why. Those 40 explanations laid the groundwork for much of the prep that followed.I recommend the book highly. It's an inexpensive way to test your CX knowledge before you decide whether you need to invest in additional (more expensive) study materials, etc.

The Key Resource to My Successful CCXP!
Michael Bartlett's CCXP Exam Preparation was the key to my successful exam preparation and CCXP certification. The book's 18 Key Principles are well written, succinct and easy to remember which was very helpful during my exam. The sample exam questions with detailed answers provided an insight into the exam which built my confidence. Although I read five other books to prepare for the CCXP exam, the CCXP Exam Preparation book was the single most influential of them all and the one that I read more than a few times leading up to the exam. The best part of the CCXP Exam Preparation is the fact that Michael donates all profits from his book to animal charities! Thanks Michael for supporting animal charities and my journey to become a CCXP!

This book is a must-read for anyone preparing to take the CCXP exam!
The CCXP Exam Preparation book was a valuable asset in my repertoire of study materials. The practice exam and the guiding principles pointed me to other materials on the web and on Amazon that would go deeper into each subject area, which is great because it kept me focused on what mattered. Michael’s book is “suggested” on the CXPA website, but I would make it a required part of your study. I was amazed at how tricky some exam questions would have been if I had not been familiar with a variety of scenarios and terminology. I read Jeanne Bliss’s Customer Experience 2.0 and Manning’s Outside In, but most of the other content I studied was a compilation of website articles and stories on the differentiating factors in organizations with amazing success in CX.Michael’s book helped me pass the CCXP exam and it will always be a quick reference guide on my shelf. If you just want to find out your base knowledge for customer experience, get it for the sample test. It will give you a pretty good snapshot of the exam style and how much studying you will need to pass. Best of luck!
