Liquid Gold Bond A Weav Extra Super Adhesive 1 oz Tube for Weaves and Hair Extensions

The best hold I've ever had with any adhesive, including tape and glue. I bought this item several times so believe me when I say this glue is the real deal. I use it to install my hairpieces and other hair augmentations and this by a long shot is the best-performing glue I have utilized. A tiny amount goes a long way, and I can get multiple installs out of one tube. It is thick and has super hold which permits me to have the option to keep my hairpiece on and even sleep in it like it's my own hair until I'm prepared to take it out. In most cases, I will only need to touch it up at the nape of the neck about once per week. My skin does not become irritated by the hold, which is long-lasting. I can swim and shower in it and it does not come loose. The color of the glue is tan/brown. It did have an odor like most glue however once it dries it has no odor. It's easy to use by just dabbing it around the area for the installation and firmly pressing the glue into the wig unit. Hold for a few seconds and continue this process until done. You can use a blow dryer to speed up the drying time. You can also tie your hair down to make it lay flatter while it dries. This product deserves 5 stars as it is really the best on the market right now. The cons of this glue is the odor so you want to be in a well-ventilated area when using it. Also if it gets on your clothes is difficult to remove. I apply it with a wooden popsicle stick. It can be applied directly from the tube but I found that I use less product and can spread it more evenly using the wooden stick. Lastly, you may want to buy a remover so that when you remove the wig unit you don't pull out your edges. I use C-22 adhesive solvent by Walker Tape C22 Solvent. This is so far the best product to effectively remove the unit from my wig cap, skin, and hair without damage. I use a wig cap underneath and apply the cap to my head with a few dabs to hold the wig cap in place, then go around the perimeter of my head, blow dry until tacky and lay the wig securely until it dries, then style as usual. It's an awesome product and I definitely will continue to use this as my go-to glue for a more semi-permanent hold. It is a tad pricey but since you need less than other glues it makes up for it. Ever since I found this product I use it when I want my install to last a long time. I will admit that until I got used to it, I was not able to get the glue out of the inside of my wig when removing it. This was remedied by applying the remover to the unit, let set over night and comb the excess glue away from the used wig so you can re-use your wig. Hope this was helpful since this is what I wish someone had told me prior to purchasing. It is well worth it. I completed my install and as you can see in my photo the glue is not visible once dried.

This is a silicone based glue. It dries slower vs typical black latex glue and was a lot more messier to deal with.It stays like cast iron.I like to put my hair extensions in and take them out every 2 days. The only thing that would get my extensions out with this glue was pure acetone soaking on the tracks. Latex based glue comes out easily with any oil based remover which is why I won't purchase bond a weave again. The thought of having pure acetone soaking on the track and my scalp just to get the hair out, for some reason sounds very unhealthy. But, that's just my opinion. Will not be repurchasing and will be going back to my old cheap black latex glue.

Works great for gluing in extensions. I use it both with and without double sided hair wefting tape and it keeps my hair in place for weeks

I needed a latex glue to prevent severe itching the glue did prevent the itching however it does not stick as well as the traditional blue with latex I had to reapply several times during the week.

Strongest bonding-product I have found for securing extensions . Dries clear but when u squeeze the tube with a lot of force, the tube spews product out the back end; after this happens, there is no way to keep the product from drying out. Still , when you are in a rush and really need something serious to keep your hair from falling off your head in public, this product cant be beat.
