Does a good job
Just used this little cutter to cut some car fenders. Like a hot knife through butter. Easy to control and handle, the perfect size IMO. My only complaint, the guard doesn’t do a great job keeping sparks from flying up in your face. But it does significantly cut down on the amount you’ll have to compete with. Also the wheel it comes with gave out after 1 fender, so buy back-ups. Overall A-, would recommend.

Caution using the wheel that comes with this tool
The tool itself works like it should. Use extreme caution if you decide to use the wheel that comes on the tool though. Its very cheap and not very durable. I bought this tool to make performing a certain recall easier, the first time I went to use it, it did what I expected. The second time, the wheel broke clean in half and flew halfway across the shop. Replace the wheel with one of better quality, and always wear safety glasses. Its also very loud, so probably use some ear plugs too.

I call it a Wyze tool. One like it's been my favorite for a lot of years.
I had a high-end body shop for 20 years. Along the way you discover a lot of great tools for cutting sheet metal, angle iron, or thick plated steel. The advantage of this air cut-off tool is its speed. It can get into tight quarters and do only what a reciprocating saw can dream of. It has a blade guard to the rear. I used one once that someone said, "Here try this" and he had removed the blade guard. Well, unfortunately it kicked back putting a slice in my finger that require professional medical attention. All the years I used one of these I never even came close to an injury.I was glad to get this one because I wanted to have one in my basement shop, as well as in the garage tool box for ease of use, and accessibility. The price of this thing is insane and makes it practical to have more than one. I like the safety catch on the pull-on paddle so you can be sure that you intend for it to start up rather than, just for example laying it on a table, and it takes off. Stock up on cutting discs. This comes with one mounted on the tool, as well as the wrench, and an air fitting which may, or may not be the style you already have.I can't tell you how many times I am in the garage, or in the basement workshop and spent lots of time looking for my cut-off tool, only to discover that it is in the other shop. Having an extra conveniently on location is worth the price of admission alone.
