I'm a red pen junkie. I write in red all the time for notes, journaling, everything. LOVE IT.I used another brand that discontinued my favorite all time pen so I was forced to hunt my next favorite pen. This is it. One thing I never liked about the pens with caps was that the pocket clip (which I NEVER used anyway) tended to poke me in the top of my hand when writing. If I took the top off, they sometimes seemed to grow legs, walk off on their own and I ended up with a capless pen bleeding all over everything. I haven't noticed that this one bleeds, as I am sure I have dropped at least one in my purse while open and have seen no new "blood" stains on the lining.Not the case here due to the old school retractable point feature. Nothing to get lost. As you can see, the pocket clip is rounded on the end so it won't poke, but it is also shorter than the last pens I used so it seldom touches my hand.The grip area is padded with some ridges so gripping is easy. The ink distribution is smooth and uniform. Color red is good.I can't believe I have so much to say about a pen...but I'm a writer so this matters.

Gave one star for sake of giving a review. Do not buy. Purchased for the Superman character to place on top of a cake. Superman came with three arms and one leg. Very disappointed.

Is there a button for 0 stars?!? This is absolutely horrible! Hulks head was not attached and it took everything to get it on. Spiderman's thighs are on the wrong legs and he's broken and can't get the leg on. The quality is worse than wish sharp edges spiderman has a nipple on his and someone please tell me when Doctor strange, Thor, and aqua man had a son?!? Because that's apparently what these people think Thor looks like with Aquaman arms and all! Don't even get me started on the "awesome lights!" 1/2 of them don't light up. Please learn from my husband's mistake and just DON'T

Best Pens EVER! If you've never enjoyed the pleasure of a quality pen, you don't know what you're missing. Glides across the paper smooth as silk. No more picking the pen up and scribbling on a corner to get the ink going. No more writing over the same spot, because the ink skipped. No more pressing really hard to make sure the pen writes. This is a small price to pay for the bliss you will experience. Try it out a week. I promise you, you'll be pissed if that one person in your office tries to walk off with it.

You get what you think you're buying when you buy these pens. If you want blue smooth writing pens these are for you, but they're very hard to find now in stores. They only seem to have what looks like these pens but they're Pilot 7 instead of Pilot 10 so the ink is very, very light and the tip is really scratcy and rough to write with. THANK GOODNESS for Amazon!!!

The G2 is perhaps one of the best ink cartridges in the world. The fact that they are cheap takes nothing away from them. In fact, they are so good that I purchase the G2 cartridges to use in my Waterman pens (from France), my Lamy pens (from Germany), and my Pilot Pens (from Japan). They actually outperform the Lamy cartridges made in Germany, and are literally one-fifth the price. Here, you get them in the Pilot throw-away pen format, but you can buy the G2 cartridges in all types of colors, levels of fineness, and shape to fit all different types of pens. THe write incredibly smoothly, do not smear and do not fade. They are among my favorite pen cartridges, and I've tried a lot, even Mont Blanc. And EASY five stars.

I chose my pens in the 1.0mm bold size because of the need to be read in low-light conditions. For this purpose thick writing is a must, and these perform wonderful for that application. I write easily one hundred paragraphs worth of text on a daily basis when I am at work in both red and black, frequently switching between the two, and so a pen of utmost comfort is a necessity. You simply cannot afford to get anything but top shelf, and these are what I consider to be top shelf. Ergonomic design that doesn't cramp your hand or take off your finger skin, doesn't slip even when your grip grows weak from all the hours of writing, never once skipping or producing faint strokes, and a simple click open/close design that keeps any caps from being lost and the ball from drying out. The fact that these are refillable is a major selling point to me. I can carry cartridge refills instead of a stack of 12 pens, both cutting cost on what I have to buy and reducing my garbage production since I only have to throw away the empty tubes instead of the entire pen and it's housing.

These are difficult to find around here and if you can find them they are expensive. I bought these to use at work but the guys at work kept taking them from my cubby. I am glad I bought more than one package and to thwart the thievery at work I put the extras in an empty tampon box. And now I have all of the pens I need.

These G2 gel pens, with Bolt point, have now become my favorite pen to write with. Very comfortable in my hand and the bold point gives excellent results when I use it. I didn't find as good a quality of handwriting when I tried their same product in a Fine point.

These pens are awesome for the office everyone loves them.
