So I won't be scaling any walls or swinging around with this thing but it is well made and a great novelty item. A little pricey but for a big kid like me well worth the money.

Despite other reviews, mine is amazing. I should remind many that, not all these may be cut with the same size whole, nothings perfect. A friend ordered one and his home was smaller than the one I got. Mine fit a paracord, his could not but his had longer spikes too.I have used mine for even climbing. I love this thing, It is extremely sturdy, light weight, brilliant design. And the Attachment hole was just big enough. If you're isn't use a drill carefully and enlarge it. I tested its strength, and put a paradox on it attached to a weight I'd system that tells me how many pounds of weight is present, one end attached to this book the other to a old hand crank with the weight I'd in the middle. This thing took 430 lbs before the cord broke, but I did thrills glue the spikes in as well.This isn't meant for climbing, I just did it to test it. I did manage to pull us into land the other day when out boat ran outta gas against a strong current due to a small 5 foot waterfall in down the river from up. Our board is a 20 foot twin engine speedboat. I love this design. I recommend for anyone for survival. It can be used for fishing with paracord, grabbing branches down, or out a river, saving a boat or runaway item or craft in water.

Pretty cool, but more of a novelty. Not much practical use

I got this for my Get home bag. It’s very small and I’m not sure how useful it would be. It’s kind of a gimmick. But it’s a neat toy if you have money to burn.

Hard to show in the pics but this thing is gorgeous. You’re thinking it’s cheap typical made overseas quality. Nope. It’s high polish titanium. So light, with fine lathe lines in the shiny barrel. Looks like it was made by elven machinists on mars. The tines screw in smooth, then slowly grab to hold in place. Everything is light. The points are sharp. There’s a silicone o ring to hold the screw cap on. My buddy Todd and I would have had a blast with this thing when we were kids. Of course, we probably would have accidentally stabbed our selves in the face throwing it into a tree, so, it’s just as well it wasn’t around then.
