This is a great product. I recommend it.Makes great ice cream over the holidays. So excited about this!As long as you keep the canister in the freezer overnight before you make the ice cream. The colder the canister, the better the ice cream texture.

I’ve tried several times, with several of the included recipes, but it’s never worked. It has never frozen into ice cream, not even thick enough to consider it a milkshake. The motor gets very warm to the touch, and has over heated and shut itself off twice. I keep the bottom part permanently in the freezer, so I can’t get it any colder. Put the whole unit in my cold garage last night hoping it might help, still no luck. Kept checking every 30 minutes and after 2 hours I gave up.

This machine is the perfect appliance. Easy to follow instructions. Followed to attached recipes and then tried a fresh Blueberry Gelato followed by a incredible Pistachio Gelato. This little guy whipped up all four recipes back to back. One note... you will use a lot of ice. This can be cut in half by making sure your batch is extremely cold when you pour your recipe into the metal churn base. Be prepared to refill the metal base at least two times per batch. The candy grinder on top shaved white chocolate like a champ. This machine earns a four star approval from me!

Ok y'all! I have been making homemade ice cream for years. Then I bought an ice cream machine that seems to be popular. It worked ok until it didn't. I called the company's customer service which ended up being a colossal waste of $50. I ended up tossing the the thing in the garbage.This time I tried this machine. It simple, digital, lightweight, and easy to store. LET ME SAY 1ST HOW QUIET THIS MACHINE IS! That was my biggest complaint about my previous machine. It's going right now and I can't hear it in the other room, unlike my other one. It's curning well and is not radiating a lot of heat.The manual is easy, straightforward. It also contains a handful of recipes. I am making a recipe not in the manual and it is looking great! I feel this ice cream maker was one of my best buys of the year!

Product has excellent quality! Runs smoothly when learning to use. It is a little noisy, my advice is to run the machine when most people are in another room. Made delicious ice cream and sorbet with this and both turned out great! Texture is soft and easy to consume. Cleanup is easy.
