I have lived in many apartments and for sure there were places that could have heard it and others probably not. Doesn’t hurt to try and wait till you get a complaint which Im betting you wont unless you jump at ungodly hours. Just be careful when you first step off after a long session, legs might drop out from under you. **Q: None of the six legs I received twist on. Are they just suppose to twist over the metal areas with the anchor cords are? They don't fit!** A: they just fit right on the bottom, some between an anchor cord and others in between. I've had no problem with them but I always make sure to tighten them before I exercise just so they don't become loose and possible bend off. I use mine daily and love it! Hope this helps! **Q: The legs are not twisting all the way down. Is that normal??** A: I had problems with just one of my legs not going on easily. I ended up using a pair of pliers to get it to go all the way down.
