Because it is smooth, it allows dough to absorb the flour / corn meal very fast. This makes the dough stick to the peel like glue.

Great pizza peel
We do a lot of homemade pizza at our house and my wooden pizza peel got moldy, so I needed to replace it. So I ordered a metal one, but I guess I didn’t check the dimensions closely enough because it was way too small. This one is perfect! I don’t have to worry about mold, it’s easy to clean, and it’s the perfect size for medium or large pizzas. And there is a lifetime guarantee!

It's the perfect size for my baking steel. I like folding the handle for storage. Easy to hold and clean.

Easy pizza
