Worked with my Cricut Maker!
I was worried about what settings to use on my Cricut Maker for this Mylar but it worked out pretty well! My sister in law wanted me to make some stencils for her and is why I tried this project. What I used:Machine: Cricut MakerBlade: Fine Point Blade, it's a slightly newer bladeMat: Standard Grip but I think Light Grip would fine as wellMaterial: 7.5 mil Mylar | 12 x 17.5 inch - This product I'm reviewingSettings: Select Mylar - Do 3 of the 4 passes. Default pressure. When selecting the Mylar option for Material with the Cricut Maker it will automatically do two passes with the design when cutting. The design wasn't completely cut out after that second pass so I started the cutting again and allowed it to go over the design one more time and it went through perfectly without harming my mat. Be sure to pause the machine and unload after that first pass of the second go so that it doesn't cut into your mat.

17 1/2 inches not 18!
17 1/2 inches x 12 inches. Not 12x18 ! My original purchase of this material over a year ago was 12 x 18 and I can no longer find that size, so I have to reconfigure all my work on future cutting of stencils already designed. Ugh.

Used to make stencils in Cricut Maker
I just got a Cricut Maker so this was a lot of trial and error for me but I finally have made nice stencils with the 7.5 ml mylar. I made a custom setting using the following:Pressure=350 and Passes=2 with the Fine Point blade. (You may need 3 passes. Check stencil before removing)

Sturdy
It worked well I would have liked for it to be a little clearer.

I also tried 3 passes at blade 5 and works fine also, so just play with the settings to ...
I did 2 to 3 passes (recuts - keep setting "return to original position" and cut same pattern) to get cameo 2 to cut. For a majority of the double cuts, the setting: blade 8, speed 1, thickness 33. I also tried 3 passes at blade 5 and works fine also, so just play with the settings to get it right. Overall, I like how sturdy the material is.

Too thick for my Cricut Maker
My cricut maker wouldn't cut it. Otherwise it is quality. According to my research 4. Something was the only choice for my maker. Also I didn't want to risk a good mat trying to figure it out. If anyone knows the setting I'd give it 5 stars.

Nice sturdy stencil material
The mylar sheets were perfect for making sign stencils of patterns that I use quite often. I had absolutely no trouble cutting these sheets with my Cricut explore and they are thick enough that they sit nice and flat while you are working with them. Cleanup is quite easy with a little soap and warm water. They arrived well packaged in a box to prevent shipping damage. A good purchase anyone wanting to make their own stencils.

If it’s for stencils, it’s a perfect thickness and very flexible!
Perfect for stencils. Because of the thickness it is more opaque and not as clear as I had wished, but can still see through it. Awesome product! And it cuts very well with the Gyro Cut cutting blade

Works well with Cricut
These sheets work well for my needs. As someone else said on here, it works with the standard knife but be sure to select "acetate" and "heavy pressure." You'll have to do some weeding, but it should be fine every time.

Good for cookie stencils
Excellent for cookie stencils. On the explore air 2 I used the mylar setting and a deep cut blade, default pressure. Or use the regular blade, more pressure, two cuts instead of one.

Excellent quality Mylar to use on a cricut cutter
Bought to make stencils on my cricut. Using the deep cut blade this product cut perfectly. I would buy it again.,
