CTA Tools2476 E10 Torx w/ 1/4" Drive U-Joint

I really want to like this, it is under half the price of the SnapOn equivalent, and no one else makes a 1/4 drive e10 wobble socket. I use this socket all day every day, and it just isn't right. The issue is the "scallop" at the tip, it is not deep enough. The socket sits on the 6 points but does not go around the flared base to the flat. SnapOn, Matco and Hazet sockets sit deeper and do not blow off the bolt. It slips off the bolt just like a regular 8mm head would do, negating the e10 portion of things.I am using this socket for maintenance work only, and even being selective there. The $47 SnapOn socket will continue to be the go-to.

Tool is high quality. But did not allow me to take off the, hard to reach, bolt that secure the oil filter housing on my 2013 BMW 328ix

The purpose of a u-joint socket is for working in a tight space at an angle, and this didn't do it for me. I needed this for work on a Mercedes engine and it just didn't hold the position well enough to turn the bolt while angled. I ended up going with a small ratcheting wrench instead. The concept is good but the execution was very poor for my situation.

This tool was required for a the oil leak job on my X5 V8 BMW hubby is the mechanic we looked everywhere locally could not locate so ordered with Amazon. Couldn’t have done the job without this. He was pleased with the quantity and it did the job.

Worked perfectly on my BMW E70 oil thermostat gasket replacement job.

Definitely lacking in quality, broke after the first use.

Good but just too expensive

The media could not be loaded.  This little 1/4 drive universal E10 socket saved me so much time and effort. Changed the oil filter housing gasket on a E90 BMW 335I with out having to remove the intake manifold.Well built tool and worth every penny!
