With 4 cats these fountains are great to have. I am not constantly having to empty and clean water dishes.

With six cats, I have to keep their fountain filled with fresh water, free of cat hair and slimy black biofilm. With multiple cats, these filters last maybe 2 or 3 weeks at best before they need to be changed. If you have a sprayer attached to your kitchen sink, it makes it easy to clean the foam pre-filter, which is a must during my weekly cleaning of the water fountain. If your fountain is running slow, the carbon filter probably needs replacing. I would highly recommend these filters because they keep your water fountain clean and healthy for your kitties.

I bought these for my cat’s water fountain. They are good quality and work fine. Only problem, the pumps stop working after 2 or 3 months. Oh and the cat wants to drink out of my husband’s bathroom sink anyway.But the filters are great!
