Is it possible to print the date and expiration date automatically? Or do you have to manually configure this data every day?

Thank you for your question. The printer, as a standalone, does not have date/timestamp capability.  However your printer comes with Label Editor software download. In the software you can create a label, add date/time and you can save the label with these 4 parameters: Don't update, update when file is open, update when file is saved, update when file is printed. Can this unit make wrap around laminated labels for cat6 that can have 2 lines for to and from

Great question!  You can print two lines on the vinyl self lamination tape (224VSLPX) The type is small (remember you only have 1/4" area to print on and the printer does not print edge to edge).  You cannot alter the font size at 2 lines.  Just want you to be aware....we have lots of customers who think it is just great and others who would like to see the font size be larger. We like to be fair with our answers.  The 236VSL allows for a little larger letters(font) but you will have more "self lam" to wrap around your Cat6 cable.

Question 3

Does this require an ink cartridge? If so, where do you find them? If not, then how is this thermal transfer instead of direct transfer?

Hello,
Thermal transfer printers marry the colored carbon ribbon to the label material through heat. There's no ink cartridge. You would use one of our PX series cartridges that are all in one. Meaning they have the carbon ribbon and the material already in the cartridge. So, all you have to do is insert the cartridge into the printer. This printer will print up to 24mm standard PX cartridges. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Kit fit into a MIlwaukee  5-compartment packout organizer? (except for the case) with extra tape cartridges?

Some of our customers have used the Milwaukee packout case before for our printers. I am not familiar with the spacing of the packout you're speaking of, so I cannot for sure say if our printer will fit. However, the dimensions of the LW-PX700 are 5.35 (W) x 11.73 (D) x 3.54 (H) (in). If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out.
