Such a cute book to read with your child. Someone gave it to me as a gift at my baby shower and now I buy this book for every baby shower I go to. We love thos book.

Kind of long for a board book.

The book came in perfect condition. The board was a thick cardboard. The pictures were nice and bright. Very colorful. Not too many words on each page. Great for kids just starting to read and not overwhelming. The font was a good size. The story was so cute. It's about two best friends trying to hug each other. They never gave up trying to show their love for one another. They tried different ways to hug. It shows kids the importance of friends. It shows how to show your love for one another. Teaches not to give up and to keep trying. I love how it the end the hedgehogs found a way to hug each other. I recommend this book. I will continue to read to my little one. This is a good book to have in your child's collection.

Definitely became a favorite, even the 1 year old would bring it to us to be read. Very cute and lovely story.

My daughter & I read this book at night & she loves it. The two small hedgehogs try so many ways to hug without poking eachother. It's so cute! If you want to hear the whole book , go onto youtube before buying it. There are so many people that read the books out loud, so you can see if you personally like the story line. 10/10

This is a lovely book. A fun story with beautiful illustrations. Two little hedgehogs try out lots of ways to hug each other in spite of prickles. My grand-daughter loved it and I have since bought more copies for presents. I see a lot of books and this is one of the best new books in recent years in my opinion. Delighted to see it in National Trust shops, sure it will become a classic.

Firstly, this is a beautiful book. It’s a family favourite and I give it 5 STARS!! The other Hedgehug stories are lovely too.However, go and buy it from your local bookstore where you can be sure that the copy you buy isn’t damaged.I bought a copy as a present off here but what I got would not be ok to gift; bent, marks on the front and back covers. Our own copy which is several years old was in better condition!

This is a very endearing story that any child will absolutely love the text is well positioned on the page and is large enough for children to see while being read to equally it does not obscure the lovely illustrations. Highly recommended for children and adults alike 10/10

This book is beautiful , a lovely story and pictures , written by friend I have known since she was two , so have bought one for my grandson , well done lucy and Steve its lovely

Lovely book to read & 2 year old loves it. Then got 1 for a relative with a toddler who liked it just as much.
