Pokemon Shining Pearl - Nintendo Switch Shining Pearl Edition

If you loved playing diamond/pearl when it first came out, then you’ll LOVE playing brilliant diamond and shinning pearl. I’m not a fan of the chino art style, but honestly when I actually had the game in my hands it doesn’t look that bad. Looked pretty nice seeing it in person. The game is still very fun just like I remember when I was a kid playing it. I know a lot of people have a problem with the exp share being on all the time and I do notice that I’m a bit high leveled. That doesn’t exactly bother me since I’m just playing the story right now so it’s whatever, I do wish there was an option to turn it off. The visuals look great, seeing all these old scenes remade is amazing and this whole game was a great trip down memory lane. If you liked playing the originals then this is a MUST so buy it now! Also one thing I’d like to note is that this is a diamond and pearl remake, not platinum. So don’t expect to many platinum elements. Overall I’m enjoying the game and thank you to Amazon for sending me this a day early! It really made my whole day better to come home from a long day of work to see this in my mailbox! On a last note, when you get near post game this game DOES get pretty hard out of nowhere so if you like a challenge you’ll love this part. The gym leaders and e4 get harder and have fully ev trained Pokemon the second time you fight them. As a competitive player I LOVE this addition to the game. I’m sure others will too!

brand new in box and raped, the delivery was fast. the game is very nice if you want to bring old fashion Pokémon nostalgia back, its exactly a remake of Peral but with improved graphics. the game still preserves the essence of the retro games, if you liked the old Pokémon's you will live this one.

I never played the original Pearl, so this is a good way to explore what I previously missed. The game seems to retain the feel of older Pokemon games while having updated music and graphics.

Though it has updated top-down 3d graphics, it's still pokemon pearl with a few enhanced features here and there.It's fun, brings back the nostalgia of when I first played the game on ds, and had a lot of quality of life features added to make it more playable and usable in modern day for the switch.

Nunca tinha jogado Pokemon Diamond e nem Pearl, e apesar das reviews negativas, dei uma chance, comprando em promoção, pois me diverti com Pokémon Shield, e não me arrependo nem um pouco! Jogo extremamente divertido, o Grand Underground é lindo, e apesar de alguns negativos, não torna uma experiência ruim, recomendo.

I played over 100 hours in game and have really loved it because diamond, pearl and platinum were one of the first pokemon games I ever played. This brought back a lot of childhood memories and I love the grand underground it not only makes some of the version exclusive pokemon available in the other game and the secret base feature is the only thing lacking in it making the base solely for statues was not a good idea but can't complain, it makes catching pokemon I loved a lot easier to find and catch. The method to catch legendary pokemon in Ramana's park is really good cant wait to see if they bring in events to catch pokemon from future generations like gen 5 or above. The thing I like most about these games are that there is no overpowered features like dynamax, megas or z moves its a vanilla pokemon game and I like that. Really look forward to future events.
