I used this trio today on my natural 3c/4a curls and I am pretty impressed! I had been cowashing only for a while and was experiencing some dry scalp and itching and needed a really good thorough cleanse. The shampoo did a really good job and I could feel the clean although I did have to take extra precautions to prevent tangles. The shampoo provides very little in terms of slip. I followed with the masque which provided a lot more slip and allowed me to work through the tangles. Then I used the conditioner as a leave-in. When applying it I could already see my hair was clumping differently than it usually does. After a cowash and leave-in my hair usually looks limp and sparse until it dries and I can fluff it from the roots. This time it appears much thicker as the clumps are more separate while still very defined! So far so good ! Historically I have had mixed success from Shea Moisture...this time I am absolutely pleased!

If you’re looking for a product that takes away dandruff, you might want to keep looking. It smells wonderful, but I purchased under the assumption that it would help with dandruff, and it has actually made mine worse. Every person is different, but for me, this product was not great.

The mask came to me all cracked and damaged

The fact it came leaking out during shipment was annoying and disappointing. I cant return a leaking product so I don't know what to do about that. I love shea moisture products so I bought this knowing I would like it.

I was really excited to receive this product as it was out of stock on the shea moisture website and i was hoping this would relieve my dry scalp. But, upon arrival, I noticed that the shampoo bottle soap seemed very liquidity and the bottle wasn’t full. When I opened it, I noticed the seal was completely off of the bottle. It seemed as if someone used it, replaced the soap with water, and sent it out. Since I can’t return it due to it already being opened, I am hoping the added water doesn’t dilute the affect of the shampoo. Everything else seemed fine.
