The product works well. I bought 3 diffrent weights and all worked.

Worked vey well i like the ends that unscrew, i had to cut a L mount off my old shocks could not duplicate them. Tap thread hole and screw on. The mounts are a little light for as strong as these are. works wellusing to hold up rear glass hatch lid on a 1970 Toyota FJ-40 stuff you have to make workThey work well

Was getting frustrated with other manufactures of lift gas shocks from other (Chinese) manufactures because of false advertising. For example, I ordered both pairs of 60 Lb capacity shocks and 80 Lb shocks of another brand and there was no difference in there actuation force which was inadequate. Also I greatly appreciated the ability of these which allowed adaptation for more heavy duty mounts which I knew I needed. Be careful to buy the heavy duty mounts for these shocks because the mounts that come with it are inadequate as they will bend and fail which is why I knocked the rating down to 4 stars.

My old struts for my RV bed lift, (under storage) were shot. I had to struggle with both hands to lift my full size Queen mattress and then prop it up with a stick, something I dreaded every time. I can now lift my bed with one hand, effortlessly. Once I start lifting, the struts finish the lift. If I even had to replace these every 5 years, I would with the same brand. I'm betting they will last longer than that! Easy to install and used the same brackets that were already on the bed that made installation very simple.

This item doesn't work and I shipped it to the Caribbean where I had to spend extra money on shipping and customs only to get a defective item.Customer care couldn't help.

Very confusing to install but works once you figure it out via trial and error. If you dont mind having to try different spacing until it works, once installed, they are sturdy and work well. They just needs better instructions included in the packaging.

To be honest it’s hard to determine what actual pressure is needed for any particular item your suppose to lift with these. It was far to much for the purpose I needed, but will keep them for other replacements in the RV. I will give them credit for reaching out to me ON THEIR OWN and asking me were they to much pressure and if I needed to exchange them. They also tried to help me figure it out. I was super surprised that THEY reached out to me to ask, and not the other way around.
