Super light and roomy
This is my first pair of wading boots, so I don't have much too compare them too, but I liked the construction and the fit. The price was great too. These boots come big, with plenty of room for a stocking foot wader. They are very light weight, so I plan on wearing thick wool socks in cold water, but they should be comfortable in warmer water too with regular socks. The sole was soft and sticky, and it had bosses for cleats if you so desire. I'll be using these for a week of river fishing in August in Alaska so I'll update this review if anything changes. Update: I wore these boots 10-12 hours a day in Alaska. They were very comfortable whether I was fishing from a skiff or walking a stream. The material allows them to dry fast, and they are very lightweight. The leather boots some of my buddies wore were heavy and took forever to dry. And they didn't take up much of my alotted weight in my luggage. I definitely recommend these.

Rock solid
Excellent much better then the cleats I have. Comfortable no SLIPPAGE, fish a lot in rivers. Compared to the cleats these are so much better. Didn't slip once.they don't gather silt and mud as well as on the inside. The sole looks solid will see how it holds up. They are very comfortable went with my shoe size and the fit is fine. Could've went up in size but there fine. Price is fair so if they last 2 season or more money well spent. If I remember...if.. I'll update my review late fall. Very pleased and again there better than the cleats. I was confident in the water with each step an not slipping. I would recommend them.

I wear 10.5 US and bought this size 11. Fits perfect over the stocking foot waders
did not know how much larger I needed to go to fit over that big neoprene stocking foot so I trusted the reviewers that said you can order your size or for me the next whole size larger. From 10.5 US I went with the size 11 and it fits great. No pinched feet and yet not too loose either. Looks good too matching the colors of the new waders. I got the cleated soles since I did not think I would need the felt soles. Can't answer how they will last, but they do look well made.

Good wading boot
I purchased this wading boot while on vacation to replace an old worn pair. The price was very reasonable. I have worn these boots 20+ times over a 3 month period. They appear to withstand the rigors of trout stream conditions rather well. My only atypical comment is that the boot material including the laces stay wet for a couple of days. Other than that, they seem to be a well made, comfortable wading boot.

Great value
So far I really like the boot being light but sturdy with good support. I felt that the cleats should have been provided as advertised as cleated but the price made up for this. I had already purchased some Frogg Togg cleats (sheet metal screws) so I had these on hand. I install these as in the past on other boots by applying a drop or two of epoxy to the thread with about 1/2 of threads showing. This makes it less messy, then screw the rest of the way in but not over tightening. Use a Qtip with the cotton end snapped off, using just the stick end to apply a couple of drops to the thread. I don't over tighten because I want a nice bead around the seat. Shoe Goo will do the trick as well.

Just as good as my Simms A YEAR LATER
I wear these over my Simms G3 Guide neoprene stocking foot waders and I can't way enough good things about them. I've walked miles of the Au Sable going for trout. I've stood "in line" in the waist-deep Maumee fishing the walleye run. I'll toss these on and wet wade the local ponds with my kids for hours.Bottom line is these are probably the best bang-for-your-buck, non-Big Name boot you can findEDIT: About a year later. These boots see about an hour of use a week or more pretty consistently the past year. I have left them outside to dry overnight only to get rained on and dry again the next day. The first couple of weeks of the Walleye run and they froze solid over night. It wasn't until last week that the laces finally broke. Replaced the laces with Ironlaces and I expect these boots to last at least another year in their present condition. Best $70 Ive spent on fishing in a VERY long time. I see now the price has increased quite a bit but even at $90+tax these are still comparable to similarly priced simms

Great product
Used for two weeks of fishing in two states. Different river conditions and these held up. I highly recommend that you purchase your actual size as they take into consideration that you will wear waders. They fit perfect with the neoprene booties on my waders. They also dry out quickly

Great First Impression...
Received these wading boots a week ago and first impressions are very good. They appear solidly constructed; far better than my old Bass Pro boots which lasted years. I am expecting good things and longevity from these as well. Tried them on with my waders and they are not only comfortable but fit true to size. Nice cleated sole which accepted studs very easily. I have used # 10 X 3/8" plated steel Hex-head screws forever to stud wading boots and found them to be a cheap and effective solution to ANY slippery surface. Looking forward to updating this review once I have had an opportunity to try the boots on-stream.

Pair # 2
Decided to get a second ones so I had dry pair on multiple days of fishing. They are a great, comfortable boot at a reasonable price. The only fault I found, one of laces broke the first year while I was tracking to my favourite fishing hole, I suggested packing an extra set of laces, just in case, it wasn’t a easy walk out through the bushes!
