This Is the Way (Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

I have spoken
Our young mando is already reading slightly more sophisticated books. However he is a huge Star Wars fan, possibly surpassing his dad in his passion. So he will appreciate the book. But we really bought it to complete our little collection of Star Wars Golden books, that makes a great addition on our few shelves of curious and often beautiful Star Wars books, some of them vintage. This Mandalorian hard cover book, like all the Star Wars Golden Books is excellent and very well presented. The storyline is very straightforward and highly readable for your readers, addressing some of the main events from the first season of the Mandalorian. With just a few words the essence of the series and the Star Wars atmosphere is captured quite well. This book also addresses a couple of our children’s favourite characters from the series; Kuill and Cara and of course 'the child' is all over it. The high quality, and quite funny art adds to the overall presentation.Highly recommended.

Nice Pictures but Where's the Story?
I bought this expecting a decent amount of text to read to my 6 yr old, like the Little Golden Star Wars books we have already. In most of the book, there is ONE sentence per 2 pages. Sometimes, there is a sentence per page. On one page there are 3 words! So its a picture book basically. We're going to have to make up our own stories! In fact, I think I may as well return it as it's not going to be used. Very disappointing!

Great book for toddlers, no fighting scenes so nice and safe
The book is great, it introduces the Mandalorian to my Star Wars indoctrinated 4 year old in a way that builds him up as a good guy ("Is he a superhero?").There are no scenes of fighting or death that I need to explain, just about how he is helping the Child and protecting him.Great book and usual high quality illustrations

Looks cool very flimsy
Looks cool, great short story. Very flimsy small and thin book. Spine isn’t glued on great so the edges are peeling back. Not suitable for children under 3 as the paper is very very thin and the pages will rip.

Age appropriate for kiddies
Great way to introduce kiddies to the Star Wars worlds... The story is told in an age appropriate manner and the illustrations are excellent...my granddaughter loved Baby Yoda...
