When compared to other available versions of the English translations of Lupin novels in this collection, this is by far the best looking, and most well-formatted collection of Lupin stories you could acquire. This translation is fantastic, with breaks and chapters organized perfectly, the font being of perfect size, and the price being the best available for the amount of material you get in this collection. This should be the first choice for English translations of the first Lupin stories in the series.

Love this book. The Netflix tv show made me want to read the book. I didn’t know which book to go with bcuz the binding and writing was a big issue but this book is perfect! I love how the chapters are sectioned off.

Book feels like its high quality but it arrived with a scratched cover.

It is a very thick book, did not expect it to be so huge.

Wife loves this book after watching the series on Netflix.

Like many reviewers, I was curious about the original material after seeing the adaptation. This edition has a decent translation (in florid turn-of-the-century language), and overall, it was an interesting read.However, the formatting is clearly a rush job, full of errors, and reminded me of a draft manuscript.At $21, it wasn't cheap. I would probably opt for a bonafide publishing house's imprint if I want to continue reading this series.

If this review provides the info you need before buying, please consider marking it "Helpful", as that's very helpful for reviewers!I had previously bought many of the Arsene Lupin novels and short story collections individually, because at the time, three or four years ago, there were no omnibus editions of the collected stories and novels by Maurice LeBlanc. These largely came in ridiculously wide and tall, but very thin volumes, and it is far preferable to be able to access these works all together, and in a format more suited to your standard bookcase. These books are paperback, but are standard hardcover size. They're quite hefty, but the binding appears to be of good quality, and we can only hope the spine does not separate as so many thick mass market books do. Time will have to tell on that one.Perhaps we can thank the new Netflix series for increasing the popularity enough to bring in this new edition, regardless of the reasoning, I am happy to see these books sold in a better format, as they are great fun to read.EDIT: When I finished reading this, I found on the back flyleaf that it is actually printed FOR AMAZON. So I have Amazon to thank for not only selling, but CREATING this new edition. They might be taking advantage of the new exposure to Lupin via the Netflix series, but I don't care why, it's just great to have this option in English.
