Good product
Surprised by how sturdy this is. I saw a review about it, scratching a shotgun, but I don’t see how that’s possible as it’s plastic and none of the screws make contact with my shotgun. I also saw with you about the Allen wrench being too small. Mine fit just fine.

Bulky
Little bulky but does nice job on a budget shotgun with no mlok or pic rails

Solid
Solid piece fits nicely but hard to find a flashlight that fits mount. Trial and error.

Nice product, but hardware can cause scratches at least on my Mossberg 590A1
Ok so I bought this flashlight mount specifically because I have the elzetta zfm-1500 for my AR and I love that mount. I do like this one except, I'm a little disappointed about the mounting hardware. When installing the mount to your firearm there are two smaller bolts that secure the bottom of the mount, these are fine no problems. Then there are two larger bolts that are put in the mount and are in between the barrel and magazine tube and here's where the problem is. At first I put it on, it fits well no problems, but I wanted to to move the mount foward a bit. So I took the the mount off and to my surprise the larger bolts when in the mount and tightened were hitting the magazine tube. These larger bolts scratched the finish right off of the magazine tube!!! I can see the shinny steel where the bolt sit and took the finish off and even left thread marks in the tube. Now again I have a 590A1 and I know this is a universal mount so maybe this isn't a problem for other shotguns. But on my gun these bolts are definitely scratching the finish. But as mad as I am I still like this mount. It's a solid product and works very well. It's not like I can't shoot the gun, I just want other people to know there's a chance this could happen because I'm sure there are people out there who don't want a single scratch on thier guns.Other than that, it would be a five star review. The mount is solid when placed, the flashlight doesn't move at all, it's very light weight and looks great.

really nice mount
I wasn't sure about a polymer mount for my shotgun but I gotta say it seems rock solid and hey they make guns out of this stuff. I really like the mount and I did not need any of the adapters for different sized barrels or ammo tubes or for my flashlight. I bought this for my Winchester 1300 defender shotgun that I finally took out of the safe after about 30 years lol. my surefire G2X tactical flashlight fit the mount like it was made for it too. overall very happy camper and I would definitely buy it again and I just might, well for other shotguns I own, and after looking through the brochure that came with it they make a lot of mounts for modern sporting rifles too so I might just have to get a couple of those too. now if my fiber optic front sight would just show up my project will be complete.

EXTREMELY high quality must have for a 590a1
was looking for a light mount for a home defense mossberg 590a1. hard to find good acessories for a 590a1.found this. saw the reviews here and on the web.bought it. love it!a must have for any 590a1 owner (and maybe other models and makes as well).super tough.will not move.will not scratch your 590a1.for me, holds a surefire g2 rock solid no problem.can mount it in such a way that one can rack the slide and not unintentionally hit the light or mount, but when you want to, one can simply extend the thumb to push the light on momentarily. simply perfect!no barrel shadows in my setup which also lights up the front sight just enough to enable me to use the ghost rings in a totally dark situation - an unexpected bonus.includes everything you need.cannot imagine having a 590a1 without this.MADE IN USA.way to go.update: switched out the surefire for a 4sevens quark aa2 (liked the idea of aa batteries and the different light options). With the adapter provided with this elzetta mount, the 4sevens fits perfectly. Still loving this mount.4Sevens Quark AA² R5, Flashlight; Black; 205 OTF Lumens; 2xAAupdate: added this rail mount from elzetta to the flashlight mount:Rail Kit for Elzetta ZSM Flashlight mountgreat item.mounted this laser to it:Crimson Trace Rail Master Universal Mount Lasergreat laser.

Revised: Questionable for a 20 gauge
I am revising my earlier review. I figured out how to adapt the inserts for a 20 gauge, and now the mount fits well, is sturdy, and is what I was hoping for. I still think for the price, 20 gauge adapters should be included, rather than me having to figure out how to modify the included adapters.

Fits Mossberg 590A1 confirmed.
Tried a couple other more expensive mounts before, and they either failed, or didn’t fit. Very solid mount, though plastic, the quality is stout and solid...I admit that I took a few taps with a hammer to move it and it didn’t budge, should handle recoil very well. Went on quick. The only drawback I see is that it will have to be removed if and when you want to clean the tube or take off the barrel for any reason.Otherwise, if you have a hex set, you’ll be ok even if you lose the included tools. I used my own hex set to install them anyway. There are instructions and pieces to install on smaller bores, such as .410, and 20, though it mentions some filing or sanding needed. Also included are clips/adapters for .70” up to 1”.Very easy, works and holds strong. Once my light comes in, I plan to take it out and send about 100 shells through it to see how it holds up.
