It's a great light. We were looking for a wall-mounted light that would light up the whole bathroom, and this certainly does. It was a very easy install, the hardest part being drilling two holes in the tiles to mount the back plate. This is where I have my only criticism of the product: I would like one of the screw holes on the back plate to be approx. 2mm long rather than circular to allow for a little rotational adjustment of the plate in the event that the holes are not EXACTLY where intended. Our lamp is not quite straight, as a result of this - the screw hole is only 0.5mm too high but as the lamp is long, the error is amplified. Drilling into tile is likely to result in a small drill slip. Apart from that, build, glass, chrome etc. are great. Recommended.

Im inneren der beiden Milchglaskörper befinden sich kurze Halogenlampen, nur etwa 5 cm lang. Dadurch wird der Teil nahe dem silbernen Mittelteil heller ausgeleuchtet als die Außenränder der Glaskörper. Ich hätte für diesen Preis eigentlich eine gleichmäßigere Lichtverteilung erwartet. Ich plane, wenn die Halogen-Lämpchen am Lebensende angekommen sind, diese durch LED-Leuchtmittel zu ersetzen, in der Hoffnung, eine bessere Ausleuchtung zu erreichen. Außerdem wird der erwünschte kubische Eindruck der Glas-Lampenkörper etwas durch sichtbare Rundungen auf der Innenfläche der Teile getrübt. Nichtsdestotrotz ist die Lampe ein schöner, schlichter Design-Klassiker.

Solid light suitable for over bathroom mirror, slightly quirky but stylish and well made. A bit fiddly to fix but worth the effort.
