Haviland Patty - Wintergreen, 1.25 oz, 24 count

Wintergreen Patties have been a tradition in our family for over 50 years. My mother (the kids Grandmother) would always have a supply of them tucked in the butter holder in the refridgerator when we came to visit. They taste better cold or even frozen. Well they disappeared from the stores here in Vestal, NY. We couldn't fiind them anywhere, finally my son found yours on line and ordered some and now we are all ordering them. Not only is the taste great, so are the memories.

OK, so I know candy is not a typical diet food, but these yummy Haviland Wintergreen Patties are only 130 calories each. My snacks are supposed to be between 150 to 250 calories, so these work. And I have loved these since I was a kid - many, many moons ago! They're just as good as I remembered too.

These mint patties are not fresh. Taste very old, dry and hard.

Not as good as I expected. I was comparing it to the York wintergreen of yesteryear, the chocolate is too bitter, and thick, and doesn't taste as good as the old original York wintergreen patty.

they are as good as they where 40 years ago when I was a kid !!! The best candy ever . very fast getting them too! Also very fresh.

Very disappointed. The patties had been lying around at the warehouse. To my taste they were stale, tough instead of creamy in texture. I have had these all my life when I could get them (now I am old!) and have grown used to the creamy texture. Is thus the way they are being made now--tough and dry?

I remember wintergreen patties from when I was a child and hadn't seen them in years. These are good -- the color pink is much stronger than the pink I remember -- but the taste seems the same. It is a lot to buy 24 at once, but I am keeping them in the fridge and only having them now and then with coffee.

What's to say? If you like wintergreen mint and dark chocolate coating, you'll find these tasty. Each patty is 'enough' without being 'too much'. Not minis, but easy to finish without looking for more right away. These are quickly becoming a staple in the household. I anticipate continued repeat orders.
