VERY good! I highly recommend it.
I was nervous when I tried this product, to be completely honest. I was afraid it was going to be a waste of money. Sometimes, the risks you take truly pay off. I've used this for chocolate chip pancakes and banana bread, and it tastes WONDERFUL. The texture is good, it's not super dense like most mixes heavy in rice flour. The best part about it? You don't crash as easily when you eat things made from this. Just a heads up, when you make pancakes, if you're used to sweeter things, the pancakes will leave a bitter taste if you don't add sugar. I use one and a half teaspoons of sugar/honey (or maybe a half teaspoon of stevia), one and a half teaspoons of cinnamon. I haven't tried stevia yet, so that's just an estimate. You'll have to taste it before you make it. But just a little bit of sugar is enough to take the edge off. It's great for anyone who wants to add more protein into their diet but can't have gluten or dairy and such.

One Star
Great concept but waffles/pancakes come out tough.

I doubt you can find anything better....
A little thick but still good. If you're looking for a real pancake taste, not going to get it. Keep in mind I use honey on mine due to not being able to use the basic syrup...may have something to do with my rating. It will fill the pancake urge for those like myself...

Glad I found this and am enjoying pancakes again!
Recently went gluten free and these make pancakes enjoyable again. I find I have to add more liquid to the recipe than it calls for otherwise the pancakes are very thick. I do like the higher protein content. I made them one day and my family didn't even know they were gluten free!

This stuff here is amazing, though the cost is a bit high
Having Celiac, you kind of miss having waffles and pancakes. This stuff here is amazing, though the cost is a bit high. My two boys who are 5 & 8 love when daddy makes pancakes. Will continue to buy through amazon until I see it in my local grocery store.

Organic GF Hi-CHON Pancake Mix
The outside always becomes golden and crisp - at times to the point of toasted - but the center is always uncooked. I've tried varying amounts of almond or flax milk - because the recommended amount didn't work. I also tried to lower the heat at periodic intervals in the hope the inside would cook through without burning the outside. I even placed the flat bottom of a drinking glass on the pancakes one at a time while cooking to help press the cake onto the pan. It's very frustrating. I'm very disappointed with this product. If anyone has any suggestion on how to make it work, it'll be appreciated; I may try it one last time with whatever little confidence I have left in this product.

Much better than any other gluten free mix you'll find, and the high protein content is just golden
This mix is amazing. I rarely leave reviews but this stuff is amazing. The pancakes come out fluffy, and delicious. My favorite way to make the pancakes is with chocolate chips! Much better than any other gluten free mix you'll find, and the high protein content is just golden.

Why add Xanthan gum?
I was so happy to see this 'healthy' option for pancakes. After suffering severe stomach cramps I read the ingredient list and saw the 'xanthan gum' Major allergen for me! I'm less allergic to gluten than to xanthan gum, so yes, I should've read the label, BUT who would've thought they'd add xanthan gum to a perfectly fine mix of flours?
