Much Better than Plastic OEM
Purchased this one as the plastic one that originally came on out container was slow flowing. Flows much easier and very sturdy. Have no issues with leaks if installed correctly.

Nice heavy spigot, FITS BERKEY stainless steel system great!
Our Berkey system has been leaking a bit from the edges of the original plastic dispenser / spigot. Probably just needed new gaskets, but in the process of looking for gaskets I found this whole replacement solution and decided to try it out. This serves as a perfect replacement, includes the new gaskets and everything you need, takes all of 1 minute to install, and it has been watertight, works great, and looks fantastic. For the price this is one to get if you want an inexpensive replacement solution for the cheapie plastic Berkey dispenser. 5 stars!

Excellent buy, except...
Pros:1. Looks really, really nice2. Fast flow3. Easy to install, easy to useCons:1. Drips a tiny bit (see below)Summary:This was an excellent investment to dress up the drink dispenser we bought which came with a "metallicized" plastic spigot. The one that came with the drink dispenser also poured out agonizingly slow. This replacement spigot has a good weight to it, was very easy to install, was a perfect fit, and did not leak at all from the mount which appears to be engineered to fit a wide variety of container shapes and types.Swing the valve 90 degrees, fluid pours out fast and freely and you fill up the cup in about 5 seconds. Close it somewhat to slow down the flow. Close it and then walk back to the party to mingle. Here's the bad: The only problem is that whatever fluid is left in the spigot itself past the valve occasionally drips out after you've already removed the cup, and yes, the valve was closed all the way. This dripping isn't very much, just a few drops, but multiply that by x-number of times the spigot is used for the 3 gallons in the dispenser and it can lead to a mess. Nothing a little drip plate or a napkin can't fix, but just a minor annoyance.
