Wrangler Men's Riggs Workwear Technician Work Utility Pants

I love these pants & am so glad they are still making them. I bought a pair of these years ago & really liked the way they fit me. If you like to wear your pants tight, these are not for you. If you want a comfortable pair of pants that allow you move around, go up & down a ladder, bend, and crawl around on the floor when needed, these are made for you. The fabric is fairly durable but light weight & breathable. Although these are a relaxed fit, they don't 'bag out' in the legs. There is an extra section of fabric sewn into the crotch area which is where the extra flexibility comes from. This also allows me to keep from tearing at the crotch seam when I do have to squat down or get on all fours while making a floor repair. I've been in construction for most of my working years & worn all kinds of work pants. These are the best. They're good looking & not just for work. These are my go-to pants for around the house & I even wear them to church on Sunday. Another big plus for me is the cell phone pocket located in a smart spot on my right thigh. No more carrying my phone in my back pocket, then having to remove it so I can sit down without smashing it. I have recently retired & only do small jobs but I continue to purchase & wear these as my favorite everyday pants. They are lasting & a good value.

The description implies that the wast band would stretch a little because Wrangler advertises that the fabric stretches. However, that is not the case. All my 40" Wrangler jeans are easy to button, but these are very tight. They fit well but clearly this pant runs a little small. These pants are the same high quality at a reasonable price. I've washed these pants once and they haven't shrunk,

These are definitely worth the price. They're not bad, very comfy. I bought a second pair.

So I got these because I was tired of putting my smartphone in my front pockets, which jab into my thighs if I crouch, kneel, sit, or go up stairs. It does remove that when you put your smartphone in the "tech pocket". The tech pocket is unfortunately not deep enough for modern smartphones. My Nokia 6.1 with about a 5.7" 18:9 ratio screen sticks up above the top of the pocket almost an inch. Two problems with that... one it can easily fall out if you crouch or sit on your knees, and two someone could easily grab and steal your phone because it is exposed. Even my tiny iPhone SE with 4" screen, while actually sits at just the top of the pocket, is easily view-able and thus, steal-able. Another issue with the tech pocket is it sits over the front right pocket, so if you have any sharp objects in your front right pocket like say, keys, they will still be able to scratch your phone. I now have several scratches on my phone as a result, which I usually store screen side in. Finally, I don't really care for the pocket on the back side of the seam.... I would prefer it on the front, otherwise you are sitting on your phone a bit as it rests under your thigh when you sit down. I want it easily accessible while sitting, which it is not. So while this did accomplish the goal of avoiding the phone in one of my front pockets, the tech pocket on this really isn't that great and is too small for a modern phone. If it was on the front side of the seam, was taller, and the front pocket didn't overlap the tech pocket then it would be perfect. As for the pants themselves, I do like them... the first set I got was too small in the waste so I ordered the next size up. they seem to be nicely made and I would expect them to last me a few years. Some decent color options too... but considering these are "tech" pants I was expecting more from them in that sense.

I ordered these to wear to work and they're really durable

Very lightweight and comfortable pants. This is the second pair that i have bought (with heavy use they will wear out, especially in the knee area). I am a fleet manager, so I am crawling around machines, trucks, and trailers all day, up and down, but the structure of these pants make them perfect for me. I like the front pockets being in the front rather than on the side. The extra protection on the pocket gives a really nice place for my tools to hang without significant wear on that area. Great price and fast shipping.

Not a workpant but perfect for gardening or as a pair of casual pants for the office.
