We're on week 2 and my 3yo still goes for her fingers. I would say this product is about 80% effective. It seems like breaking the habit is going to be a long road for us and I don't blame the product for it.My biggest complaint about the product is that the velcro is sharp and scratches me a ton. I have scratches on my face, hands, and arms from my toddler wearing this. It makes it difficult for her to be around my newborn because I', worried it'll scratch the baby. I'd recommend the maker to add stitching around the velcros so it's not so scratchy.My toddler also gets itchy from having this product on. Whenever I take it off, she goes ham on her elbows and scratches like crazy and makes me feel so bad for making her keep it on all the time.I will say though, that my girl doesn't mind having it on when it is. She's still able to do her day to day activities only with a stiff arm.
