I think it's a good toy for a 3-year old.
I finally gave this to my grandson and granddaughter a couple of weeks ago. It was a hit with my grandson. I thought my granddaughter might like it too but she really didn't care at all. However it was the 2nd, 3rd and 4th day of playing with it that my grandson liked it the best. He is 3 and the remote was so simple that he enjoyed making it go upside down over and over. He figured out the start up and frequency selection without any help. I guess it is obvious to kids who see so much electronics anyway. Plus the curved antenna on the remote is really nice. No pointed ends to get in the eyes or anywhere else. The tires are of a soft synthetic rubber material that do grip the hardwood in places pretty good. The carpet even better. Where our wood floor is shinny, this racer could't get a grip and would spin, which he liked too, but he managed to find that high traffic areas were the best to make the car flip. So far the batteries have held up for several days of play and the remote and car too. Pretty well made it seems to me. It turns itself off after some time of not playing with it. A battery saver for sure. Takes a few to get started though so buy yourself a bunch of AA-batteries if you buy this Racer.

Kids love it
My 2 and 1 yr old love it. My 8 yr old even plays with it. Now the range is not very far for the remote and many complain about this but I think it is helpful. It keeps the toy from getting too far away from you and the kids. But if your kids are like mine and chase after while they are controlling the remote then there won't be a problem. But if a lazy adult, like myself, just wants to sit and play with it then it you will be very disappointing with the range in which the vehicle will go. My kids love this toy especially when it flips. It drives over their feet and under the couch and they just laugh. It is a bit noisy but some parents don't mind a little noise when it is accompanied by laughter.

Perfect for my boys!
My boys, ages 3 & 5, asked Santa for remote controlled trucks for Christmas. I scoured the internet to find ones that were age-appropriate and had 2 channels so they could play with their toys together. I'm so happy with these! First, my guys love how they look (truck on one side, car on the other; each with it's own color scheme). Secondly, even my husband and I love making them flip over. Drive them into the wall or over other toys and they flip right over and keep going. The boys have no problem with the cars getting out of range while racing, and we live in an over-sized ranch with lots of racing space. Their little hands can manage the remote without issues. They don't even notice there is no "right/left" steering option, since it naturally turns as they move it forward and backwards.The $20-ish price was right within my budget, but buying 16 batteries (8 per car) hurt my pocketbook. They've been playing for hours on those same batteries, though. Even though it's designed for younger kids, my 5-year old didn't complain it was for "babies". It's a great toy!

Some times the car doesn't respond well.
This toy is fun, my son loves it. Arrived on time. Only problem I have with it, is that it seems to lose its signal from the controller quite often. Sometimes it can be controlled from 20 feet away with no problem, other times it won't respond even when only 5 feet away. That is why I gave 4 stars. Other than that issue, it works great and is a lot of fun.

Lots of fun, easy to use, takes a beating!
My 4 year old absolutely loved this, and so did the big kids (including the over-grown ones aka me and my husband)! Performs as promised, easy to use, even for the younger kiddos. Battery life is also very good. It's also very sturdy. My kid drover it down a flight of stairs and it was completely unaffected. Would definitely recommend.

Chuck is great Seller is Not !!
This is a great large car for my granddaughter. Backward and forward. The wheels turn slightly when backing so you can change direction. Quickly reverse direction and the car flips over to the other side. A Great product.HOWEVER, the seller KINGTOYS. sent an advertised new one that had been opened and returned. The packaging was torn and not even taped back shut. It was quite obvious it had been ripped open. Do not buy if sold buy KINGTOYS.

Not good!
Never worked right since we got it. Which is truly disappointing as it was a Christmas gift for our 3 year old. The remote never worked right no matter how many times we put new battery's in it. It has become a dust collector in the bottom of his toy been in only three months. my wife and i would not recommend this product!

Really durable quality toy !
We've had this for over 2 years and it still works perfectly . Occasionally you might have to move it from a tough spot , but my kiddo has has endless fun with it .Big bonus is that he hasn't broken it . That speaks volumes with my child .Really a good fun toy that is made to last

From the day the car arrived the remote does not work half the time and you need to keep pressing it hard , sometimes walk upto the car.
