Z-Ration ALL MREs 12 pack MRE Fresh & Fast! (Filled Cinnamon Buns)

I loved the very dense, rich, crumbly MRE cakes of old! Delicious chocolate chip, orange pound cake, etc. Kind of like eating densely packed hot cocoa mix! Yummy! These are NOT they. These are a slightly dry fluffy pound cake. They are of decent size (about 1.5 decks of cards) and just as flavourful as the title flavour on each packet claims. I guess I'm kind of split between apple sauce and the marbled as to which I like most. The reason for 4 stars instead of five is two-fold. First: They are not as dense and crumbly as before. Second: I preferred the flavours from the past. Other than that, they make a great snack and in a survival situation they would provide a calorie dense kick and a tasty diversion from your current plight! Cheers!

Soft and comfortable

This is some seriously good pound cake. I just received the package, and quickly tore into one to try it out. It's not exactly what I expected, but a lot better. Dang... I mean, I know what I'm having for breakfast in the morning. It will be perfect with a cup of coffee. And maybe another for my mid-morning snack at work. I don't think these are going to last around here for very long. Looks like I'll have to order another box 😁

Since this was the first time to buy this product I was not sure what to expect. It was very dry, almost too dry to eat but the flavor was good. Would have been a hit if the cookie has some moisture.

I am a fan of breads, cornbread is my favorite. I have foods to store but wanted breads to store too. I have bread, tortillas and cornbread now. I'm set and hope you are too.

A tad on the dry side, but calorie dense for a quick pick me up.

When the economy crashes these will be great. I ate some and liked them.
