Litt Industries Ultimate Upgrade LED + Switch + Tactical Bezel Compatible with Mini 2AA Maglite

Very nice upgrade. I had an old MagLite AA flashlight that still worked, but it was a bit erratic in terms of switching on. Also, since it had a xenon (filament) bulb, it wasn't all that bright. I chose the Litt LED upgrade because it's made in Mesa, AZ, not China. Quality seems excellent. Installation was a snap. I was concerned about the polarity, since it's an LED. Either I guessed right the first time (unlike my experience with USB A plugs), or polarity doesn't matter. It lit right up. I really like the switch that screws into the tail of the flashlight. Push button is much quicker than twisting the bezel. It's not quite as bright as the new Mini MagLite AA LED model I bought recently, but opted not to get the highest output LED kit that Litt makes to minimize any potential problems from heat build up. But it's plenty bright enough, and certainly way better than the original bulb. I give it 5 Stars for Durability because the tactical bezel and butt end switch are both made of machined aluminum, and because of the Six Year Warranty.

I have had this Maglite for about 15 years. It has always done well, but of course the poor light quality with the regular bulb. I also have never liked the twist on feature. I find push-button much more convienient when in a defense situation and have to use the flashlight in conjunction with a firearm. This kit nails it! I was on the fence about the lumens since the new Maglites ar 300+. This light is PLENTY bright for the price. No rattle in the tailpiece or button. No light shutting off upon shaking or running with the flashlight. AND, one thing I did not see in the decription (maybe it's there), it comes with a new plastic lens to make the light even brighter.The ONLY thing I don't like is purely asthetic....NO ETCHING ON THE BEZEL!! Now maybe it's a trademark thing, but I have always loved the Maglite etching on the bezel. You NEED to etch this bezel. Looks way to plain without it. Maybe "Litt Industries" with the flame. That would be on point! Great product!

Does not fit any of my three 2AA mini maglites, two different models and one older and one newer of the same model. If you were trying this on the pro+ to have a maglite version of the super bright 'tactical' flashlights you see, don't bother. The thread is too short.

Overall, this upgrade kit is a great idea over the original standard bulb. Parts look and feel well made, although the bezel feels like light plastic but it appears to be metal, and it doesn't match the finish of the housing but worse, when the bezel is screwed on, there's about a 1/16 - 1/8 gap which not only may allow a place for contaminants to build up but could also let moisture into the housing. The original bezel screwed on flush with no gap. I'm not sure that this $23 investment will be worth it in the long run. My advice is to leave the original Maglite engraved bezel ON and just change out the bulb just to be safe.

Shines much brighter . . . push button on/off works great . . . now adjust your beam and push button on and off . . . .no fiddling spinning the head to turn it on and adjusting the beam

The button power switch is worth it alone haven't had it long enough to test its sturdiness.

Easy install.Excellent upgrade for brightness and battery use.Plan to "fix" my other mag-lites as well.

Looks great, installed easy. Really bright, coating on the parts matches good to a new mini mag which it what I installed this on.
