Duncan CCKIT-1 Cover-Coat Opaque Underglaze Paint Set, 12 Colors in 2 Ounce Bottles with Free How to Paint Ceramics Book

These colors are very nice and they worked well in my kiln. I used them for 20 minutes at 1800 degrees. I put the painted pieces in at about 500 degrees and then let it warm to 1800 degrees. I then left my pieces in for about 20 minutes. If anyone else uses them differently, I would love to know. I used them on blackjack low fire clay on small jewelry pieces.

Used underglaze for the shrimp and went over it 3x to ensure opaqueness. It would have been fine with 2x just to ensure an even coat. Very happy with this sample variety while working from home instead of the studio. I prefer Duncan to Speedball because it doesn’t get clumpy easily (or yet at all).

Good variety of colors and this paint can be fired in a kiln.

This is for painting my ceramics. I have several pieces from before lockdown. I'm painting them now so that when things open, I'll be one step ahead.

Love the beautiful colors

Orange peel, Deep Turquoise and White bottles have broken an leaked. The "book" is a single printed page that is ruined from the glaze that has leaked. I would like a refund or replacement for the glazes that cannot be used are less the amount because of damage.
