Pricey but good
So probably like you, I saw an ad about Airofit on IG or FB and tried to see if it was on amazon. It was but without a real review. So here I am gonna give it to you.I am 2 days into this product and so far it seems just what they advertise. It is a product to improve your diaphragm muscle and ultimately your breathing. They make it interactive using their device and app. This device syncs via Bluetooth (syncs fast and without issue) and guides you through exercises. These exercises are pretty fun and challenging at the same time. You can adjust the difficulty and there are different programs depending on what you should improve.Do I feel like my lungs improved in these past 2 days? Yes, after every time I use it I feel like I can breathe significantly better. I still have yet to get to test out if my mile time has improved.Do I think it was worth it? Kind of. I think $300 is steep especially since there are other products similar to this for much cheaper. You are basically paying for the app, and for me, I think the app is really good. I would put a value on this for about $200, but since there is not much competition with an app functioning this well, they are allowed to make it $300.Overall, it'll help your breathing. If you have a bit of money to spend on a good product to improve your breathing, I would recommend it. I write this review as an athlete/student, but this product would also be good for people with COPD, musicians, and normal people.

This might be saving my life.
I don't write this lightly. Born asthmatic, but it's pretty mild. Long time smoker. 36yo Male. Smoked since 12yo. 24 years of that stupid addiction. The past year I found I have elevated cholesterol. I started excersing and dieting. Breathing has been a challenge. In just 3 days I've seen my metrics improve drastically. It's challenging excersize, but based on the metrics so far I'm already improving massively. It might actually be saving my life. First lung test showed inhale/exhale strength was lower than normal. Made sense. Smokers don't usually do any cardio.Lung capacity has increased from 6.7L to 7.2LInhale force has increased from 62.6 cm H2O to 89.3 cm H2OExhale force has increased from 65.8 cm H2O to 97.9 cm H2O3 days. Just 3 days.If you're having trouble breathing because you smoke, I definitely recommend. With utmost sincerity and gratitude,THANK YOU AIROFIT. Thank you so much!

Gung Ho
I started out rather enthusiastic ('Gung Ho') about using this product, as I'm very much into breathing, athletics, yoga, and so forth, enjoying the daily exercises guided through by the outstanding mobile app. I've come to question the lung capacity measurement, starting out quite high, then declining. The statistical data shown by the app showed a gradual decline in my breathing strength instead of an improvement. There are pro's of this product: it is high quality, and the Bluetooth synching with the iPhone app was almost instant. The app's user interface and the guided instructions are excellent and fun. The con's of the product are that in order to complete the breathing practices one has to excessively engage rib cage breathing as opposed to diaphragmatic breating, exercising more the intercostal muscles rather than the diaphragm. Furthermore, separating the 'brains' of the unit from the valve body turned out to be more challenging than simply pressing the sides. It was more like wrestling the two units apart. Sad to say, I was disappointed and returned the unit.

Worth every penny!
This device, and the app that goes with it far exceeds my expectations. I say that as someone that has been diagnosed with one of my phrenic nerves paralyzed, greatly impacting the effectiveness of my diaphragm. After diagnosed, I created my own PT, because my pulmonologist (who is the best of his field in the Seattle area) frankly had nothing to offer for treatment. How I wish this device existed when I started that!!! It essentially measures the same data that I got from some VERY expensive diagnostic machines at the U of W and creates an exercise program. I am already seeing results in only a couple of months. I can only image how beneficial this would be to others, even if completely healthy, or atheletes.

App Issues Disappoint
I have used the Airofit Pro nearly everyday for 5 months, hoping it would help with my running and some mild asthma. It is easy to use and while I can't quantify the results, I think the exercises are useful. However, the device is of no use without the app and the app has major problems in my experience. The only problem I have had with the device itself is the green light no longer goes on when it is charging, but it still charges, so that is a minor issue. The main problem is that after a few months and making it to the advanced level, I started getting messages from the app that I had not been training for a while and urging me to resume, even though I had been using it everyday and the completed sessions clearly showed up on the app's statistics. Then one day when I signed on, the app went back to start up status and I had to re-enter my sport and was taken back to the beginner level. I went back though the process and was 3/4 through intermediate level when then same issue recurred. Upon contacting Airofit Support I received the following response: "Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to resolve these issues with the software." So If I want to keep using this, I have to start pushing the rock up from the bottom of the hill once again. This is very disappointing for a device and app that are rather pricy. Therefore, I can't recommend this product.

Great product and customer service
I have noticed major improvements in my breathing power since incorporating the Airofit training into my daily schedule. My unit did end up having some issues after about six months but the company was very responsive and replaced my unit for free when that was needed. Excellent experience all-around.

Good variety of exercises
Not sure it’s worth the price tag. Needs longer term use for proper review. Was using a Bas Rutten O2 device before.
