This book is exactly what I was looking for! I love that the author provides you with ample ritual and spiritual information, but respects the readers ability to create their own practice. I highly recommend this book if you want to explore the wonders of Tarot, and how the Moon impacts your daily life!

I really love the format of this book. There are tarot spreads and spells for every Moon of the year, with tarot guidance Pages interspersed throughout. This is a good book for either beginners or more advanced Tarot practitioners. I expect to be consulting this book every month for years to come. It's a great addition to my Pagan library.

First off, Ms. Constantino can WRITE. As the managing editor of a popular lifestyle magazine she knows exactly how to describe even the most esoteric concepts thoroughly and yet concisely - this book MOVES! As a reader of 25+ years I did not expect to be engaged by the first part of the book, which is an overview of tarot in general - but dang it, I wish this book existed 25 years ago when I was first starting out! The chapters on the months are cleverly arranged and designed so the book can be used in a linear fashion (advancing through the wheel of the year), or radially (skip from full moon to full moon or find all the spreads that relate to say, money or transformation). The hundreds of spreads outlined within Tarot by the Moon are deceptively simple and yet perfectly powerful to the situation at hand. You won't have to spend precious minutes explaining to your petitioner why the cards are laid out in a particular pattern. Finally, it is refreshing to read a tarot book that is inclusive to other practices and not sounding holier-than-thou. Victoria Constantino is very present in her book as a fellow reader and 'lunatic' and yet her authoritative-yet-friendly tone never sounds like she is preaching the one/right/true and only way to read the cards. Tarot by the Moon will have a prominent place in my library - but will probably be spending a lot of time at my Reading table too!

Whether you are new to tarot or an experienced card reader this book will have something in it for you! The number of card spreads that are included in this book alone would make it worth the buy, but on top of that the book is full of information to help you learn the highly intuitive art of tarot, and the author has included many spells as well as information on related topics, making this book a fantastic handbook to accompany your tarot deck(s) of choice. The book is laid out for the twelve monthly full moons, plus a section on blue moons, making it very easy to find information pertaining to any full moon of the year. I appreciated that the author points out you are free to use any of the spreads and spells any time of the year they call to you. There are monthly spells, tarot spreads, meditations and rituals in this informative book. I liked the format of the book, it makes it easily accessible, the spells are not complicated and most people will have the items needed at hand. If you like working with the Tarot and the moon, then this book is perfect for you.

Tarot by the Moon by Victoria Constantino is excellently structured and unfolds elegantly, teaching you everything you need to know as you make your way through the book. There are Tarot spreads and spells galore, as well as tons of Lunar Lore and some powerful meditations. I greatly enjoyed the journey and am grateful to have gained a new and unique Moon themed resource for my reference library.

the author offers a significant variant of spreads for all purposes, month by month, and with all kinds of tips. A good book for all tarot readers and card readers, especially for the inexperienced.

I think this book should have a hardcover for its density and size, also for the price. The paperback cover makes it look very cheap. The paper quality did not meet my expectations, as well as the plane black and white printing.The content is amazing and I'm keeping it for this reason. I find it really intriguing and inspiring to read tarot according to the moon phase. This is a good book for all levels of tarot reading.

I usse thiss book every month and recommend to anyone new to tarot :)
