Cars 2 World Grand Prix Race Launcher

We just purchased this toy on Amazon. I am extremely disappointed as is my 3yr old son. The launcher really only works with the plastic car that was included with the launcher. It shows 5 cars and says "Collect them all!"How can they be collected if they cannot be found ANYWHERE to purchase? Do the cars even exist?? If so, where are they?It states the "other vehicles sold separately." REALLY?? It also states "not for use with some car vehicles." It should state "Only for use with the ONE car included!"In addition, it states in the description on the website that the die cast 1:55 can be used with the Launcher...while it is true they do fit in the launcher they launch about a foot! Not much of a race! We have tried all different surfaces with no success.Basically we are left with ONE car that actually GOES! That is not what I call a race!! It is what I call "False advertising!"Now I have a 3yr old son that is extremely frustrated and crying because they don't race and it doesn't work!!

If your child loves imitating races with their Cars2 cars, this is the best toy to help them with that. They just load the cars in the slots and push the buttons and the gate drops and the cars "race". You can also use it as a carrier for the cars. The thing is that it is all made of a heavy plastic and for the price I would have hoped that there would have been some sturdier pieces but such are all the toys made nowadays!

My boys ages 3 & 5 like this. My son got this for a birthday gift last year and he enjoys playing with it so we purchased it for a birthday gift for his friend. It's a fun concept, however, you do need to buy "special" cars for it (of course), it does come with 1 car and we didn't end of getting the additional cars; my son just uses the regular cars his has. They are not as light as the recommended cars but they still work. It's built nice and seems sturdy. It doesn't work well on carpet so you really need to play with it outside or on hard wood floors. The nice thing about it though is it will hold the cars for you so it kind of doubles as a carry case. Overall this is a fun toy but doesn't keep their interest more than about 15-20 minutes.

I was so pleased on receiving it in the mail. The toy came in excellent condtiion and delivery was fast! My son saw this race launcher video demo on Youtube and kept asking for it for Christmas. I couldn't find this toy in stores i.e.,Target and Toys R Us so I was happy to find it on Amazon. My 3 year old loves this toy and plays with it all the time!

Double purchase. This is a great way to store all of the racers in the Grand Prix Race collection. I purchased two and filled the second with the special edition silver finish Grand Prix Race collection. When my grandson is finished playing, each Car has a designated garage and the launcher stacks neatly away.

This was better than I expected. My grandson is so into Cars 2 and "the finish line" as he calls it. This was his dream toy and his other cars fits it as well. He loves it! And it is portable, so he can carry it everywhere. Just a great toy.

Got this for Christmas for my Cars-obsessed toddler and he loved it. It works fine with Hot Wheels cars, too - plastic cars will go further than die cast, though. We haven't had any problems with it! My son is 3 and can work it on his own.

I was hoping my son would be able to figure this toy out more on his own, he is almost 4, but the buttons get sticky and you have to load the cars just right. Once all that is done, however, it is really fun on a hard wood floor!

Great item

My son got this for his 5th birthday and he thinks it's an amazing toy. He didn't however like the Lightning McQueen car that came with it so he has used a die-cast Mcqueen instead. It's a great toy, it launches very well. You need 10 cars to fill the launcher but good imaginative play can be had with less. It's well made, and quite sturdy which is more than can be said for some of the Cars toys. Recommended.

Bought as a Xmas presnt for a five year old, in spite of some bad reviews. Boy loves it. This review is being written on Boxing day. Launcher still workd, nothing broken and cars firing on all cylindres. Looks as it will give lots of pleasure.

I have received this for my chief's little nephew...She wanted to buy to this toy for little nephew because she liked it on Amazon.co.uk...But this car race launcher includes only one toy car...She thought it would include more than cars...

My grandson loves this item and plays with it every day. One slight gripe. Some of the Cars original vehicles don't actually fit into the holes that well. A design error I guess. Overall happy with the purchase.
