Best scoop
This is a nice sturdy scoop. Our freezer is near absolute zero and the ice cream gets very hard, but this has a nice wide handle and is very sturdy. The edges of the scoop are thin and make it easier to scoop, and the release mechanism works perfectly. I looked at fancy ergonomic scoops but they cost a fortune and had no release mechanism. I’m happy I saved my money and got this. I believe it is the last scoop I’ll ever need to buy.

Great ice cream scoop with ejector
Great functionality. Not quite as robust and solid feeling as the KitchenAid scoop without the release feature, but the riveted release mechanism seems to be well-constructed. There is plenty of play in the scoop ejector so it really pushes the ice cream off the scoop. I've had some of these ejector scoops in the past where the ejector wasn't strong enough to always eject the scoop. This one has no problem with it.

It looks like it will do the job I want it to do.
I want to use it for mash potatoes as I have not made mash since I received it I cannot say if it will do the job but it is a strong item and looks like it will
