Tsubosan Hand tool Workmanship file set of 5 ST-06 from Japan

Incredible file set. Slightly larger than most mini files, but still very capable in tight spots. Removal material quickly and easily. The handles are simple coating, but are pretty comfortable. I still have and use finer jewelers files, but grab these when they fit the need and I need to remove material fast.

Good quality, nice selection of shapes but this is definitely more for wood or rough filing. It's not a Swiss pattern but having said that it feels good in the hand, and small enough to get in the nooks and crannies.

I bought these to use while I cut keys to finish filing it down a little bit to get the burrs off and overall these work amazing we use these at My Work and I love them there. They have really good grips are a nice size for storage and are easy to use. The metal is very strong and does not wear down over use

Great tools, a pleasure to work with. Can't say much about the durability yet. Feel and look like superior quality, made very well. Perfect size for my 3D prints.

TLDR: blows away the stew mac and other files I ordered. Now, that being said, these are NOT perfect. There were some hooked burs on the ends of the files, one even snagged and cut my skin so I had to deburr them. They could have deburred better from the factory but they'd probably charge much more. Short answer: Guys, these files are so hard and sharp they are worth buying, much better than american files. I had to use a diamond file to deburr them but after that was done I was left with files that are far better than the stewmac that I purchased at the same time on amazon. The stew mac was not cut as well from factory and would require taping off the smooth side or a lot of polishing because it wasn't smooth at all, quite jagged in fact. I'll just return the stewmac and not bother even testing it. I tested one japanese files on an american file and I was able to cut into the american made bite rite like it was butter with no visable damage to the japanese file seen under a 100x microscope. If you are looking for a hard files that feel good in the hand, are very sharp and will probably last, BUY THESE. Now the price will probably go up. I better grab more before it happens :)

Great general use files to have no matter what you do. Quality is a level above everything else I’ve used. Comes in 5 different shapes: flat, have round, square, circle and triangle. Feels great in the hand and produces a great cut.

Fantastic little files that feel like they'll last a long time. I primarily use it to file down brass pins and finely detail pieces of wood. So far I've noticed no decrease in performance, but with how affordable they are and how well they smooth I have no complaints. I also appreicate that they're pretty small. Fits well in the upper shelf of my cantilever toolbox.
