Pink Prismacolor Col-erase Color Pencils. 12 Pack

The only place I could get these from was at my local art store. I did not want to buy it from there only because they did not sell it in bulk. So paying $3 per pencil was not ideal. My recent col-erase was slowly diminishing and I wanted to buy new ones quickly.I adore this pencil because this color is very light. The red one for me is a bit harsher line and is a bit more unforgiving. For instance, when I sketch with the red pencil and try to erase the old sketch is still visible. May not be the biggest deal breaker if you color over it, but I did not like it. The pink one is much lighter allowing you to erase your mistakes with ease. I do have a light hand so that also might be the reason I can achieve that result.I also watercolor over my sketches with this pencil. And the most amazing thing is that you will not see the sketches under it. The col-erase blends in very well with my sketches and you practically do not seem them. So now I can freely do a very messy sketch and won't have to care about the aftermath of painting over it.Personally, this pencil works well for me. I am a light-handed sketcher and tend to paint on the warmer side. It makes sense the pink would blend in my watercolors so well. I’ve been using blue col-erase pencils for years and I decided to get pink ones as that’s the color I use for loose sketches. I was between pink and rose but decided to go with pink and I must say I made a good choice. Prismacolor produces quality products. No smudging problem as other brands-Almost always sharp tip allows you to draw freely. Packaging was good and it arrived on estimated time. Now I’m looking for other colors!

Every pencil in the box has a large barcode sticker on it at the top. When you peel the sticker off, it peels off the paint. First world problem but disappointing as I am giving these to my students as a particular teaching tool and the paint is messed up on them. Otherwise, I'd give them 5 stars. Prisma color is always a win and they are a very pretty pink.
