Living around a warm water bayou and enjoying Texas Coastal saltwater in the summer, we are always concerned with bacterial or other harmful infectious organisms that can be found in warm summer waters. For years we have rinsed our hands and bodies with BZK soap or some other strong antibacterial cleanser. We used to keep BZK wipes around, but always hated the after smell and were concerned about the harshness of the chemicals. As we moved into our 60’s we started using a tea tree oil in coconut oil on scratches and abrasions, both for it’s antibacterial properties and to aid in healing. When we found this Maple Holistics Tea Tree Peppermint Hand Soap, we knew we had found what we needed in the boat, on our dock, in our fishing bag, and even in our kitchen. The soap cleans our hands really well, the lingering peppermint smell is soothing, and we even feel like the tea tree oil in the soap protects us from dangerous organisms that might exist in our warm waters. So after a day of fishing, we wash our hands thoroughly using Tea Tree Peppermint hand soap and we are less concerned about the possibility of an infection from minor cuts, nicks, and scrapes. Plus the Peppermint aroma hides any lingering fish smells. Reasonably priced, nice slim container, easily fits in anywhere we need it.

This soap. This soap is impressive. I don’t even like scented soaps as a general rule. I prefer unscented because potent ascents tend to give me a headache. I gave this soap a whirl because I love their tea tree shampoo. This stuff is great. Amidst the pandemic, where antibacterial hand soap is hard to find, this stuff has been fantastic. It felt weird to get excited over a delivery of scented hand soap (I’m a guy). But I was excited. I popped this sucker open and smelled it. The smell blew me away. This stuff smells like peppermint candy. If someone had you close your eyes and made you smell it. I am certain every one of you would say it’s a peppermint candy. And here’s the rub. Mint stuff tends to have a very slight tingling sensation which can be uncomfortable. NONE. My hands don’t appear as dried out as they were prior to this soap. The scent of real lavender is amazing. What I don't like is the fake chemical-y lavender scents. I put this bottle of lavender hand soap in the bathroom that all of my family uses and we all think it smells pretty amazing. as far as how it comes out of the bottle and the feel of it, it's kind of perfect. I don't like it when hand soap comes out feeling too thick, like lotion, and they seem to have it perfect. When you press out a little bit of soap it is just thick enough for you to feel and then it smooths itself in your hand as you rub your hands together. It doesn't make big giant balls of bubbles hat you're trying to wash down the sink after. It has the perfect amount of bubbles and foam and thickness and the scent of lavender is a natural smell and not like a fake lavender smell which I was really happy about. This is a great product and I will be buying more.

This lavender soap has a wonderful scent and terrific consistency. The scent is just strong enough, without being overpowering, and I like how easily the soap rinses off. I have been using it in the shower, even though it says it's a "hand soap." It's great for shaving my legs, and I like that it easily washes away the antiperspirant residue from my underarm area so that it doesn't gunk up my razor. (I have found that many soaps are not very good for dissolving this, and it really messes up my razors.) I am happy to say that it is a great product!
