S.I.T. String P1150 Pro Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar String

According to SIT's string tension chart, these total 132.5 lbs., which would put them at the level of some extra light sets. However, at 11-50, it's closer to some custom light or even light sets from other manufacturers. They're easy on the fingers and sound great. You may have to tweak your truss rod, especially for the 36 gauge A string. I mainly do fingerpicking with bare fingers, and they work for me. Overall a good sounding set that Amazon sells for a bargain price!

good strings at low price I’ll have to play them for a while to know for sure I have used the more expensive ones and i liked them

For the price of under $5/set, these have got to be the best deal on Amazon right now for phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings. The custom light gauge is great for fingerpicking, especially if you are getting longer in the tooth. I recently downgraded from lights this year, and it is really helping me keeping on playing. But SIT strings sound great and play great and best part is there is no D'Addario string grease/oil that rubs off on your fingers. These are nice and dry. Bright strings for PBs, good depth and character, and I look forward to leaving them on for a few months to see longevity. They don't really stay in tune as advertised, but I just put them on last night, so they are settling in. If you are downtuning a lot, dropped tunings, you probably need medium gauge or light, I think custom light .11-.50 is too thin for that, but for standard tuning, this gauge is great. And again, if you have Prime, it's $4.89 a pack, shipped. Crazy...

First time using these strings and they far exceeded my expectations. I have always used uncoated strings because in my opinion they sound better. I don’t mind that the strings need to be changed more frequently as long as they perform and sound well. I re glued one of the top braces that had come loose on my Washburn acoustic and strung it up with these SIT strings. After sitting over night, I Played it the next morning and she was still perfectly in tune.

I have these on an ovation celebrity. They have a nice sound. Typical phosphor bronze. Not as bright as 80/20. They feel slinky to me. It may be the guitar, which is new to me. Sit gives plenty of length to work with and is USA made.

These guitar strings are wonderful! Play very nicely, keep their tune and are easy on my fingers. (not as many blisters as my other strings gave me XD)I would definitely recommend buying these! Perfect for beginners (as extra lights are not at hard on your fingers).Very Happy with the quality of these guitar strings. :)

Tenia unas cuerdas ghs, que suenan de maravilla, usadas , al cambiarlas de una en una observe que tenian incluso menos brillo que las usadas de hace semanas de ghs, y me desconcertaron, tienen un sonido para mi gusto algo monotomo, las cuerdas no se diferencian como debieran para mi particular punto de vista, tonos ricos en contrastes, son algo llanas , quiza para acompañar puede ser, pero para puntear ..... , es una pena porque por el precio de casi 18 euros aposte por la esperanza de tener unas buenas cuerdas , no digo que no lo sean , pero a mi no me convencen como para volverlas a comprar.
