What is the weight capacity of the B67 Brooks saddle seat?

lol. Im 393 down from about 410 when I started 2 wks ago. Id had the Brooks on my Cross bike but covid laziness, injury, and general malaise did a number on me over the last Covid year. It had had probably around 100 miles on it before, at about 350-360lbs, city commute.

Ive put it on my exercise bike (with a conversion for seat post) and I have to say that I wish all exercise bikes came with these. SO much better than 2xs too thick and 2xs too wide with a microscopic short horn that most exercise bikes seem to come with. *SMH* Ive got probably about 40-50 miles on it again at my higher weight and no tension issues. A bit of bounce due to the springs but I find that  psychologically helpful in some small way.

What type of oil should be used to minimize the noise coming from the springs of a B67 saddle?

After contacting Brooks directly about a noise that seemed like it was from the springs, it wasn't from the spring itself but the movement of leather over the metal parts. I also put some proofide around the tension pin mount in the space between the underside of the leather and metal.  -Just in case you don't want to use oil on the leather.Below is what they told me to do. (it worked perfectly no reoccurring of the noise. I used a small paintbrush and a q-tip to do this) Turn the tension pin nut by one full 360 degree rotationPush a thin line of Proofide dressing alone the space between the underside of the leather and the rear metal Backplate

Would a brooks b67 be a good choice for a giant anyroad? has drop bars, but they are higher then the saddle height and somewhat closer to the saddle.

I read that the B67 is good for when the handlebars are higher than the saddle. My bars are a little higher than the saddle and it's very comfortable.  Those springs don't compress much so don't think that it'll be like floating on air when your riding on rough surfaces. I only ride on smooth streets and paved trails and love this saddle. It feels hard at first but after it breaks in it's great.

What is the difference between this and the B66 ?

The B66 has two rails on each side requiring a seat post clamp that can accommodate the double rails. The B67 has one rail on each side. Make sure you have the correct post clamp before you buy the saddle. Brooks sells the clamps as well.
