Was a little nervous about getting these but they are fantastic. They fit very snuggly and look absolutely amazing and the laces they give you to tie them up are just the right length (at least for my arms), though it took me a few tries to lace them properly and I recommend burning the edges to seal them so they don't fray. Otherwise these are perfect for costumes and Renaissance looks for a great price.

The bracers themselves are very nice, pretty sure fake leather. Fairly sturdy, a little on the stiff side but okay. They are smaller than I expected though and the straps are started to fray and split as soon as I started lacing them up. I can get them on, but barely. I will be replacing the cording. However, once they are on they are comfortable and look awesome. I definitely recommend them.

I'm not confident the material is 100% real leather but I don't really care that much, it gets the job done for my costume and that's all that really matters. I would definitely not trust this as actual armor (if, for some reason, you intend to use it that way) because it seems a little bit flimsy and probably wouldn't do much to protect you.Product came unlaced with two strings, but you probably should lace it yourself even if it came laced so that it fits you. Easy to lace, do it just like you would lace a shoe, might need to do some fancy wrapping/tying to hide the extra string hanging off (if you have any). If you're using this for a costume or cosplay it is a good product and I think the value is acceptable. I've only seen a few bracers like these that are cheaper. These are good quality nonetheless and will totally get the job done unless you expected some serious battle armor.

This was a great addition to my cosplay outfit.

I bought these for a renaissance festival months ago, but I love them so much I wear them all the time now! They were uncomfortable at first, bc of the stiffness of being new. I've worn them enough that they feel okay now. There's plenty of string so I think they can fit just about anyone. Once they are on me tight the extra string can be wrapped around my forearm exactly once. With that much string I eventually decided to just tie a knot at the end and wrap it around my forearm and tuck it in under the bracer. Stays pretty tight and I don't have to deal with it coming untied or being tied into a knotted bow that I can hardly undo.

These are perfect! They look and feel fantastic, all of the grommets are well set and the cord is really nice. The only complaint I have is that the end of the ties aren't sealed, so after stringing them once they have started to fray. No worries, it's something I can fix and it won't be a huge bother but it would be a nice finishing touch. These do look absolutely incredible though.

I’m a 17 year old using these for a pirate halloween costume and they’re just what I need. They’re a little loose as I am on the thinner side but with a long sleeve under them, I think they will be great. The laces don’t have the little stoppers on the end so after the first lace up the ends were already frayed. I would recommend taping them before using with just a little bit of scotch tape.
